Big Mama Funk (BMF) is the stage name for Pritee Almeida a seasoned Frontwoman, singer and entertainer here to make your event the biggest, best and memorable event EVER!
With 15+ years’ experience leading not only her band, The Funkstars, but many others to perform classic party tunes from Luther’s Never too Much, Amy’s Valerie, Aretha’s RESPECT and Jame’s I Feel Good and beyond.
From Weddings to Celebrations of Life to Corporate Christmas Parties, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs and Birthdays (etc.), BMF will perform a bespoke selection of songs from all genres of music to create memories that last a lifetime.
Not just a party singer, BMF also offers a range of tributes from Motown to Aretha Franklin; Jazz ensembles for your reception drinks and various sized bands (duos, trios – 12 pieces) or a solo outfit.
