Join us for an interactive BYOW (bring your own wine) online wine tasting session with London Local & Wine Connoisseur Serena Gasparini.
The Local Way invites you to a special event within our “Wine & Chat” initiative – an interactive online wine tasting session, in which you have the chance to discover more about your favourite wine.
This wine tasting with a twist lets you bring your favourite bottle of wine to our online, intimate event*, and our expert Serena will lead you through the tasting based on your wine – from the Pinot Grigio from your off-license, or the Cabernet Sauvignon from the supermarket, the expensive bottle from the local wine shop that you keep for special occasions, or any other wine that you enjoy and would like to find out more about.
After the interactive tasting experience you can meet some of your fellow participants in our Wine & Chat style – we will open up virtual rooms in which you can exchange your thoughts and experiences about your wine discoveries and enjoy a good conversation with 2-3 other participants. At The Local Way we are all about connecting people and making meaningful connections, so don’t miss the chance for some great conversations!

Serena is a self-described Events Guru, with a qualification in wine. She set up her own business, Serena G Consulting, an event and marketing consultancy with a thirst for working with food and drink brands and the hospitality industry.
With a very Italian name, she was born and raised in Adelaide, South Australia and has been living and working in London for the last 6 years. While she mainly speaks Italian with her hands, her upbringing has played a huge part in her love and passion for hospitality food and drink industry.
She frequently hosts wine tastings, often with a focus on Australian wine, which are her passion. However, she is a well-rounded wine connoisseur and can open up the world of wines to you no matter where the wine is from.
