PopUp Dance brings the club to you when DJ Tom Morley plays dance classics live from London into your living room!
HOW TO JOIN:
The FREE code for Delegate Wranglers is WELCOME.
- Do reserve your spot! PopUp Dance takes place in Zoom.
IMPORTANT DETAILS:
- The access links will be emailed to you from Eventbrite 24-hours before the start of the event, with a reminder sent to you10-minutes before we begin.
- Check your inbox before the event for an email from Eventbrite. If you don't see it, check your spam/junk folders.
- Download the free Zoom application on your device in advance. No account is needed.
- You'll access PopUp Dance using the link in the email from Eventbrite.
- Please test your camera and speakers in advance. Laptops are better than phones because you'll see everyone more easily.
- Switch your camera on in the Zoom session for an interactive experience!
- Hook your laptop up to your speakers or headphones so the music sounds great.
- For a more stable connection, disconnect other devices from your WiFi and switch off apps/tasks running in the background.
- This event will be recorded. Footage from the event may be used for promotional purposes.
- Your image may appear on screen during the event.
- Any person deemed to be behaving inappropriately during will be removed without warning by the event moderators.
What is PopUp Dance?
DJ Tom Morley will bring you an hour of 20 dance classics live from London into your home for this debut PopUp Dance event. Tom, aka the Rockstar Activator, has been DJ-ing global online Zoom parties since lockdown began. PopUp Chorus® has partnered with him to bring the groove to you!
There’s no lining up, no coat check, no taxis home, no hassles. It’s time to hook up your favorite speakers, grab your headphones, dress up (or dress down), and get dancing with your housemates, or on your own. We'll spotlight those of you who are getting creative and really performing!
What kind of music? Like PopUp Chorus®, PopUp Dance is all about loving the BIG choruses, so expect a heady mix of songs from Tom like “Dance To The Music,” “Groove Is In The Heart,” “You Can Call Me Al,” “Walk Like An Egyptian,” “Stuck In The Middle With You,” and even some songs from the 21st century like “Uptown Funk” and “Happy.”
Are children welcome? Yes! This is an opportunity for the whole family to let their hair down and go crazy. It’s a “stand up and move” party, not a “sit down and watch until it gets good” affair. It’s good and kickin’ from the very first minute.
