The Story so far…
It is 1952. The Coronation of HRH Queen Elizabeth II has taken place, and the Parish Council of the all-but-forgotten village of Prinkton-on-Sea have decided to commemorate the grand occasion by making a proper cricket pitch on the village green. They have also decided to rename the pub on the green to something more appropriate than 'The Olde Stump Inn', and tonight, the council will hold a meeting at the local guest house to decide on the new name and to get an update on the progress with the cricket pitch.
When a village gets together to make a collective decision it is not unusual to encounter a little animosity or even in extreme circumstances perhaps a good deal of shouting.
But for the people present at the meeting tonight, there is a person or persons yet unknown who will make very sure that this meeting will go down in the village's history as the night that they finally got even!
