Set within 75 acres of Surrey Hills countryside, De Vere Horsley Estate is a historic mansion house hotel and contemporary management centre, offering the perfect blend of convenience, comfort and flexibility. With a variety of meeting and event spaces, a range of bedrooms and some unique and quirky spaces, the estate is an excellent choice for meetings, conferences, creative events, gala parties, team building and overnight stays.

The hotel features 175 comfortable bedrooms, ranging from standard doubles to premium rooms and refurbished suites and our recently upgraded communal spaces include our hotel bar, Brasserie restaurant and atrium spaces for coffee breaks, informal networking and break out groups.

Designed with business events in mind, the venue offers a range of flexible spaces, including:

Four dedicated meeting zones, providing privacy and flexibility for different types of events.
41 adaptable meeting rooms, suitable for everything from small board meetings and training sessions to large conferences.
Two elegant banqueting suites, ideal for gala dinners, awards evenings and celebrations.
Multiple syndicate rooms and break out spaces.
A private dining room, perfect for executive dinners or smaller, exclusive gatherings.
Outside spaces for garden parties, outside dining and marquee events.
And… the Horsley Secret Tunnel – a unique, atmospheric setting for silent discos, drinks receptions and team building.

Guests can also enjoy our excellent on-site facilities including an indoor swimming pool and gym, outside gym, running and walking trails, our on-site Frisbee Golf course and our brand-new Woodland Spa opening soon.

The venue is well connected by both road and train. Situated 10 minutes from the M25, around 35 minutes from both Heathrow and Gatwick airports, and only 50 minutes by train from London Waterloo, De Vere Horsley Estate is the perfect location for delegates travelling from across the UK and overseas.

Where is the hotel located?

De Vere Horsley Estate is located in the pretty village of East Horsley in the Surrey Hills, 10 minutes from J10 of the M25 and approximately 15 minutes from Guildford. The hotel is conveniently situated between both Gatwick and Heathrow airports. Horsley Station is a 5-minute taxi ride or 20-minute walk from De Vere Horsley Estate, with regular, direct train routes to and from London Waterloo.

Is there parking onsite?

Yes, we have 200 complimentary on-site parking spaces, including designated disabled bays and four EV fast chargers.

Do you have any leisure facilities?

Yes, we have an indoor swimming pool and gym, plus outdoor gym and 75 acres of running and walking trails to explore, all free for hotel guests, no booking required. This Autumn we are excited to launch The Woodland Spa, complete with woodfired sauna, hot tub and cold plunge, plus treatment rooms and a Meditation Ger for group activities.

Do you offer Exclusive Use?

We do! Horsley Towers mansion house is available as an exclusive use venue, with 28 premium bedrooms, three main event spaces and further meeting rooms and syndicates. Horsley Towers also boasts the outdoor terrace, historic chapel and cloisters, Towers bar and the Horsley Secret Tunnel. At Horsley Place management centre, we can also offer exclusive use of The Hub and Horsley Court areas.

What dining facilities do you offer?

Guests can dine in our buffet-style Brasserie restaurant or opt for Private Dining in one of our event spaces. Our award-winning Executive Head Chef and his team can offer formal banqueting menus, outdoor BBQs, Street Food stalls, working lunch options, canape receptions, bowl food and themed evenings to suit your event needs.

A seamless experience for everyone involved!

I wanted to send a sincere thank you for the terrific job you and the team did in managing our recent Leading at AIG event.

The six days ran incredibly smoothly and, from my perspective, without any significant wrinkles. The upgrades to the venue were certainly noticeable - new carpets looked great, and the ‘owl’ was particularly beneficial given the video calls to New York. Equally, the De Vere support team were excellent throughout in meeting our requests and helping to create a seamless experience for everyone involved.

A special shoutout to Monica and Peter, who were consistently responsive, proactive, and a pleasure to work with.

I also wanted to recognise how well the luggage arrangements were handled. Last year, getting luggage up and down the stairs at Horsley Towers proved challenging, but this year it was navigated exceptionally well and made a real difference to the overall experience.
