Easily reached from the M4, M3, M40 and M25, with good train links to London including the Elizabeth Line which runs from nearby Twyford and Reading. This magnificent Grade II listed Victorian Mansion house completed a multi-million pound renovation and re-design in 2021, resulting in a premium hotel, event and dining destination which has retained all the charm of its grand Victorian heritage.

The Downshire Suite is our impressive ballroom located on the ground floor of the Mansion house, perfect for conferences, training, banquets, weddings & summer parties. High ceilings, original fireplaces, elegant chandeliers, and sash windows overlooking our beautiful grounds and gardens make this a very special place to hold your event. The suite is well equipped for conferences with air conditioning, heating, a large retractable LCD screen and projector. Combined with the adjoining Tawney Bar and Orangery, this creates an outstanding suite of space which also includes direct access to our stretch tent terrace and gardens with barbeque space and teambuilding areas.
The King Suite is a brand-new build, large events space set in a tranquil woodland setting offering 750sqm of column-free space, self-contained with its own kitchens and restrooms, plenty of natural daylight, state of the art technology including a 7m x 4m video wall, vehicle access and a private, seated outdoor terrace. Accessed by a covered woodland walkway, this is a perfect venue for large corporate events including Award Ceremonies, Exhibitions and Product Launches There are plenty of grounds for team activities and the suite is also available for private dry hire.
