For our latest ‘Getting To Know’ feature, we caught up with Francesca Wynn – who operates a Leeds based, premier corporate networking company for Yorkshire professionals
Q: In a nutshell, tell us the about your services and the some of the industries you’ve worked with.
A. Network Inspired is Leeds premier corporate networking company, which hosts bespoke networking events at various bars in Leeds City Centre. The company provides the ideal platform for professionals of all sectors, to network, to inspire and be inspired, create new future contacts and potential business opportunities. Due to the current climate, we are hosting weekly Zoom meetings on a Thursday evening, to talk about various subjects, including what or who has inspired you during social restrictions and general moral support.
Q: How did you get started in the events industry?
A. I met a number of contacts around 10 years ago, at bars in Leeds City Centre, through various social groups. They encouraged me to host social events and create a network for myself, especially within the events and hospitality industry.Q: Most memorable moment working as a freelancer?
A: Establishing a new networking business at corporate level and feeling a sense of pride for being able to freelance and run my own company.
Q: Best location you’ve worked at?
A: Gusto, Leeds. A great central location, ideal for making new connections, impressing new contacts and meeting current contacts to maintain business relationships.
Q: If you could go back in time, what advice would you give yourself?
A: Plan and prepare for the event and know your audience, to provide the best service and shine out from the rest!
