We are currently seeking an ambitious, enthusiastic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team to be responsible for generating leads, increasing our reach, building the company profile, talking to new clients and supporting our sales growth.

Overview:

MICE Concierge Ltd is a full-service events agency with a reputation for quality. We provide solutions across all three event models (In-person, virtual and hybrid). Our services include congress accommodation, registration services, virtual conference production and hosting, onsite check-in and badging, conference app development, event websites, and meetings management. We take pride in helping our clients achieve their event goals and provide the support needed to overcome challenges and maximize ROI.

Role description:

This is a full-time role, based in our office near Bedford, with the flexibility to work from home as well. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic self-starter who is probably currently working in a marketing, business development or operations role withing the events or hospitality sector. They'll be determined and confident and have a desire to steer their career towards new business development and account management.

Key tasks and duties:

  • Social selling using LinkedIn
  • Sending introductory emails
  • CRM management
  • Travelling around the UK to client events to make introductions and build relationships
  • Setting up small client workshops and breakfasts.
  • Email list management
  • New business development activities including account qualification calls and service demo's
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Understand client needs and objectives to provide tailored solutions
  • Drive revenue growth through upselling and proactive selling to new clients
  • Building company and individual profile within the sector
  • Collaborate with internal teams
