The Opportunity:

Dancing Squirrel is one of Europe's leading full-service creative event agencies.

To our clients we are their strategic partner, providing innovative and captivating narratives to bring their brand to life in live, hybrid, or virtual event settings.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to cover a 12-month maternity leave period, with a strong possibility of contract extension based on business growth.

You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities that leverage our creative and technical expertise, with a particular focus on the events and corporate training sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Sales: Proactively identify and qualify new client leads, focusing on companies that require modern solutions for communication, events, and training.
Solution Selling: Effectively present and sell Dancing Squirrel’s core services, including event production, animation, digital content creation, and our specific product, the Paperless Conference app.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact during the sales cycle.

Strategy: Work closely with the Senior Management Team to refine sales strategies and targets.
Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, pitches, and tailored proposals to prospective clients.
Essential Skills & ExperienceProven track record in business development, sales, or account management.
Demonstrable ability to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Familiarity with CRM software and sales pipeline management.
Highly Desirable ExperiencePrevious experience working within the Events, Live Communications, Creative Agency, or Corporate Training industries is strongly preferred.
