As a Client Manager at our dynamic team building and events company, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with our clients. You will be responsible for ensuring client satisfaction, managing client projects from initiation to completion, and collaborating with various teams to deliver exceptional events that meet and exceed client expectations.
ACF Events is the South West’s top event management company that specialise in team building activities, corporate fun days, company festivals and activity days. We offer a comprehensive range of event services all under one roof, including conferencing, teambuilding, themed parties, game shows and entertainment too!

Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, providing exceptional service and support.
- Building relationships either over the phone, by email or in person. (We love talking to people!)
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their needs and expectations.
- Proactively identify opportunities to onboard clients.
- to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Regularly communicate with clients to update them on project progress, gather feedback, and address any concerns.
Project Management
- Manage client’s journey from conception to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams, to plan and execute events that align with client objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess project success and identify areas for improvement and development.
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and open communication.
- Share client insights and feedback with internal teams to improve service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Event Management, OR proven experience in sales, client management, project management, or a related role within the events industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Flexibility to travel and work outside regular business hours as needed.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience events industry.
- Knowledge of event planning and management best practices.
- Strong understanding of client relationship management (CRM) software.
- The ability to work in a fun environment!
- B2B sales experience.
- Strong customer service skills.
- You will be naturally confident, outgoing, and highly organised.
- A team player who can easily adapt to change, especially during busy periods.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
