Leopold Marketing is a specialist destination marketing agency working in the tourism, events, and inward investment sectors. We partner with cities, regions, and venues to help them attract visitors, events, and investment through smart strategy, creative campaigns, and meaningful relationships.

Much of our work involves attendance and co-ordination of services for clients at live events, including UK and international exhibitions and destination showcases.

We’re a small, ambitious team who care deeply about quality, collaboration, and doing things properly — without taking ourselves too seriously.

The Role
We’re looking for an Operations Executive to be the engine room of Leopold Marketing. This role is all about keeping the business running smoothly behind the scenes, supporting the team, improving processes, with the ability to also represent the company at our programme of global live events as required.

You’ll work across administration, systems, suppliers, and internal coordination, playing a vital role in enabling the wider team to do their best work, while also acting as a visible ambassador for Leopold Marketing at industry events, confidently engaging with senior sales and marketing leaders.

This is an ideal role for someone who is highly organised, proactive, and detail-driven, and who enjoys being part of a highly creative, industry-leading team that is ambitious, growing, and at the top of its game.

You’ll need to be comfortable thinking on your feet, adapting quickly, and embracing the fact that no two days will ever

be the same.

Key Responsibilities
Business & Office Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day operational tasks to ensure the business runs efficiently
  • Maintain internal systems, processes, and documentation
  • Support the development and improvement of operational workflows
  • Coordinate suppliers, freelancers, and external partners where required

Team & Project Support

  • Support the team with project administration and resourcing coordination
  • Help manage timelines, internal schedules, and capacity planning, coordinating diaries for the senior team and travel plans where necessary
  • Ensure internal tools (CRM, project management software, shared drives) are kept up to date
  • Playing a supporting role in campaign delivery for clients including research, marketing communications and preparation of project campaign materials

Event Delivery Support

  • Support the planning and delivery of Leopold Marketing’s programme of live and in-person events in the UK and internationally
  • Act as an on-site support at events, ensuring smooth delivery and handling issues calmly and professionally as they arise
  • Represent Leopold Marketing confidently in client and delegate-facing environments
  • Support pre and post-event administration, reporting, and follow-up activity
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure events are delivered to a high standard and reflect the Leopold Marketing brand

General Support

  • Be a go-to person for operational queries and problem-solving
  • Proactively spot inefficiencies and suggest improvements
  • Support ad-hoc business initiatives as the company grows

About You
Essential

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Proactive, reliable, and comfortable taking ownership
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Confident using digital tools and systems (e.g. Microsoft 365, Excel, project management software)
  • Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A great people-person, confident in building relationships with clients at all levels of seniority and managing those relationships in a face-to-face environment
  • Willing and able to travel to events across the UK and internationally as required

Desirable

  • Experience in an operations, office management, or administrative role
  • Experience working in a small business or agency environment
  • Basic understanding of finance processes (invoicing, budgets, expenses)
  • Knowledge of marketing, tourism, events, or destination promotion
