Technical Event Producer / Technical Wizard

Join our team of Technical Event Producers to help deliver amazing virtual, in-person and hybrid events. Reporting to the Production Managers, you’ll help create, shape, manage and deliver the technical components of our clients’ varying events.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Management of Event Technology
Harnessing the right software and hardware to create innovative and creative solutions to deliver a variety of events. From webinars to conferences, product launches to graduations.
Direct Client Communication
Actively participating in project meetings to shape and define client requirements. Developing and maintaining client relationships.
Measure Twice, Cut Once
Working with the wider First Sight Media teams to implement solutions, steer the development of event platforms and prepare for success.
Hands on Event Production
Pulling everything together to deliver projects – acting as the lead technician and using your wizardry* skills to ensure seamless end-to-end production.

EXPERIENCE NEEDED

Essential
* Hands on technical ‘crew’ experience on in-person events in one or a variety of roles.
* 2 years’ of technical delivery experience for events.
* Understanding of the overall goals and principles of event production scenarios.
* A taste for working on multiple projects at the same time with some long and varied hours.

Highly Desirable
* At least 1 years of client management experience.
* Virtual or hybrid event delivery with exposure to related software - such as vMix or OBS.
* Interest or experience in video production and live streaming.
* Strong IT literacy with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.

*Although we use ‘wizard’ and ‘wizardry’ in a tongue-in-cheek way to suggest technical expertise, actual wizarding awesome. Although sadly, unnecessary.
