I’m Simon from Kindera (pronounced Kind-er-ra).

Back in 1994 — the year Oasis released Definitely Maybe — I built my very first website. Over the past 30+ years, technology has transformed beyond recognition, but one vital area still gets left behind: Digital Accessibility.

When organisations discuss Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), physical spaces usually take centre stage. But true inclusion doesn’t stop at your office door — it extends to your digital front door, too.

Many teams operate on the assumption that "if no one has complained, everything is fine." But under the UK Equality Act, accessibility is anticipatory — you cannot wait for someone to be locked out before you act. Besides, accessibility isn't just about edge cases; it’s about all of us. Whether you wear reading glasses today, rely on captions in loud environments, or adapt to changing vision and motor skills as you age, accessible design is built for future-you.

Sparking real cultural change

True digital inclusion doesn't happen by accident, and it shouldn't just rest on the shoulders of your tech team. It starts with building a culture where everyone understands why accessibility matters.

That’s why our flagship offering is the Developing a Curious Mindset Workshop.

Designed for whole teams — from content authors and marketers to designers, developers, and leadership — this interactive session requires zero prior technical experience. It breaks down barriers, sparks empathy, and encourages a curious, inclusive mindset across your entire organisation. When accessibility becomes part of your team's everyday culture, building inclusive digital experiences becomes second nature.

How else we help

  • Targeted Technical & Content Workshops: Tailored hands-on training for technical developers and content authors looking to deepen their practical skills.
  • Digital Accessibility Audits: Need to know where your digital assets stand today? Our audit acts like an MOT for your website or app — spotting underlying technical roadblocks and content errors to give you clear, actionable remediation steps.

If you’re a business owner, event organiser, or marketing director ready to lead the way in digital inclusion and transform your team's mindset, let’s chat.

Kindera: Opening digital doors for over 30 years. Is yours open?
