Metropolitan is a purpose built events & sports venue for hire located in Bushey, near Watford, Hertfordshire. Built in 1967, Metropolitan boasts a range of function rooms & meeting rooms for hire, ideal for weddings, parties, funerals, meetings and presentations.
Metropolitan also boasts 36 acres of sports fields and facilities including football, cricket, tennis and even a county standard bowls green.

"I just wanted to say a massive thank you to your team for looking after us during my surprise 60th birthday party.
I'm sorry I didn’t catch her name, but the lady who was in cahoots with my husband — greeting us and tricking me into going upstairs—was amazing!
Daniel, the DJ, was absolutely brilliant (I apologise for my friends from different decades hassling him to play their tunes!).
I’ve heard great things about the buffet sausage rolls, so the food clearly went down well too.

My husband and I had our wedding here on the 4th of May – we had our entire day at the venue: the ceremony, the sit-down meal, and the evening party. We couldn’t have been happier!
The staff are amazing, the venue is beautiful, the food was great, there are excellent parking facilities, and the gardens are lovely for photos – the whole day went off without a hitch.
George looked after us so well in the lead-up to the wedding and helped us plan all the details – he was awesome. On the day itself, we were looked after by Claire, Jodie, and their team, and they were all fantastic!
I cannot recommend them or the venue highly enough. Thank you so much to everyone for making our day perfect – we are truly grateful to each and every one of you.

"Just wanted to say a big thank you for everything. The party on Saturday was exactly what I imagined, my husband had a great time and all our friends really enjoyed the night too. I had so many great comments/feedbacks about the food and the place, honestly, everyone was so impressed with everything.

"We just wanted to write to say a huge thank you for everything you did to ensure that Harry's barmitzvah was such a success. The room, food, drinks, staff on the night were all fabulous. Jez and I was able to relax and enjoy the evening as everything was so organised and you had it all in hand.
The team on the night couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating and your handover to the team was so efficient and meant everything ran really smoothly.
There were so many comments from our guests about how wonderful the venue was and how impressed they were with everything you put together.
Thank you again, we had such a wonderful evening and would definitely recommend the Metropolitan to anyone that asked."

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for everything. Leo's 13th Birthday Party in the Aldenham was out of this world, and we were so delighted with everything. The food was great. The bar was exactly how we wanted. Everyone had the best night!
