The Delegate Wranglers new ‘recognition of excellence’ system - DW Superstars has got off to a flying start. It's focused on those looking for endorsements whilst working within the group. The DW Superstars initiative allows participants to carry testimonials – or superstars – based on the number of third-party endorsements they receive, while those looking to work with them can see the levels of success attached to their profiles.
Importantly, the Superstars initiative is inclusive for the whole of the event industry, meaning event planners (freelancers, agencies, etc) and event suppliers can benefit from being a part of it.
The initiative is optional but with incentives within the group available, for those that pick up larger numbers of endorsements, beyond the increased credibility of their businesses. The initiative forms part of the Delegate Wranglers’ objective to inject more momentum into the community and works as businesses engage their own customers to leave positive testimonials and reviews on their DW website directory. These listings are then made accessible to others throughout the event industry and will also be visible on the businesses profile in the form of superstars – giving them the opportunity to show them on the DW Facebook group when responding to business leads.
“We’re really keen that The Delegate Wranglers take on some of the responsibility to inject activity into the industry, to help our suppliers & planners win business, and to give confidence to the organisers on the platform to host events as soon as they can,” comments Neil Thompson, Founder, Delegate Wranglers. “We know endorsements really move businesses, both on Facebook and outside of it, we hope this makes booking that little bit easier for everyone.”
The very first member of the Superstars initiative has been confirmed as RA Venues / Levy UK, two brands within Compass Group UK – who manage event space and catering at some of the UK’s leading cultural, heritage and sport destinations.
The brands have taken packages for 25 of their properties throughout the UK and Head of Sales for RA Venues, Tracey Astles, commented, “To be involved in this project as the very first member is super exciting for RA Venues. Not only is this a fantastic opportunity for us, in that we can increase our profile by letting our existing clients shout about how good we are, but it’s also going to be really powerful tool for the industry, to help build confidence and trust on The Delegate Wranglers platform.”
Since Tuesday, numerous Delegate Wranglers have signed up but the first independent company to join was long time member of DW, Joshua Angell with his recently launched company BOXZD
Joshua tell us: “Having been a member of DWs for several years, it made perfect sense for us here at BOXZD to become a superstar member, continuing to support and engage with the ever growing DW membership base, a group where genuine referrals, peer recommendations and long standing relationships and collaborative working between client, freelancer and supplier really matter”
The DW Superstar Initiative launched on Tuesday 5 January with further loyalty based initiatives to follow later into 2021.
