This December, Lancashire’s bakery for business, Eat My Logo, founded by Andy and Ruth Poar, celebrates its 10th Anniversary! Since their establishment in 2014, they’ve grown from a small-scale bakery servicing local demand to the UK’s largest operating bakery dedicated to providing corporate branded cakes, biscuits, confections, and chocolate.

To mark their incredible milestone, the team behind the business are sharing some of the fantastic moments they have achieved together since opening their doors in 2014.

Unit expansion: Eat My Logo began in a quaint cake shop nestled in the heart of Chorley's town centre. Presently, the enterprise thrives in a meticulously designed bakery unit, having expanded its footprint from a modest 500 square feet to an impressive 9,000 square feet.

More recently, the bakery underwent construction to build a chocolate room, fitted with high-quality machinery and equipment. This expansion was brought on by their acquirement of a successful chocolate company known as Cocoapod, which are specified in B2C printed chocolate gift boxes.

Awards and Accolades: Throughout Eat My Logo’s incredible 10-year journey, they have amassed an impressive collection of accolades, including 2 Red Rose Awards, 3 BPMA Product Awards, 1 EVA Award, Downtown Lancashire's Best Newcomer of the Year in 2016, and numerous others. Ruth Poar, the Director, proudly remarked, "We take immense pride in our team's accomplishments and the well-deserved recognition they've received."

Sustainability Impact: Eat My Logo has consistently worked to improve its environmental sustainability, from the use of eco-friendly packaging to ensuring waste is minimised. More recently, they have made significant strides by transitioning to Wild-Framed flour and earning an EcoVadis gold medal, which ranks them among the top 5% of sustainable businesses globally.

Team Growth: The team at Eat My Logo has experienced significant expansion since its inception, led by founders Ruth and Andy. Consisting of 16 members across both their production and office functions, their steadfast dedication guarantees customer satisfaction with every order, day after day.

Community Impact: In alignment with their unwavering commitment to corporate social responsibility, Eat My Logo has actively participated in several impactful initiatives and events throughout its 10 years in operation. These endeavours encompass support for the NHS, collaborative partnerships with students in schools and Chorley's youth zone, as well as donations to food banks and charities such as Derian House among other noteworthy contributions.
