To celebrate Milton Keynes as our 'Destination of the Month' for June, we caught up with a few Milton Keynes people to find out more about the services they offer for event professionals - next up is David Cowlard, Managing Director of Imagine Presentations

DW: Hi David, tell us more about your role as founder and Managing Director at Imagine Presentations
David: I set up the business in 2003, recognising a gap in MK for event management companies. We have built a good reputation over the last 20 years and produced over 1000 events! In the early days I was right at the forefront loading vans, managing onsite crew, these days we have a team of over 25 people so it’s now more about running the business for me and letting our talented team deliver the amazing events!
DW: Can you share some examples of the type of work Imagine Presentations delivers nationwide?
David: We organise any event at all! We have produced many conferences, award shows, product launches, corporate parties, exhibitions, private events. We have done this all across the UK and internationally.

DW: Your team create immersive themed packages, what has been your favourite theme that Imagine has created?
David: A couple of years ago we produced Around the World in 80 days for one of our clients, it was amazing! We created zones in the event space that reflected famous locations around the world! We had giant hot air balloons and a whole cast of actors and performers bringing the story to life. It was very immersive and the guests were blown away. I have never seen so many phones out recording an event we have delivered.
DW: Your core values align with ours, good vibes only! Tell us more
David: As you may have seen, we refer to our company values as our vibes! These are the energetic foundations that guide how we operate and communicate within our team, and with our clients and suppliers too. They represent the very essence of who we are, these are the vibes we aim to bring to our work every single day! DW: We saw your impressive work on the Leonardo Hotels Sales & Revenue Conference last year, do you have any plans for Christmas at Leonardo MK?
David: We are hoping to produce a big masquerade themed event at Leonardo MK this December! I thinks it’s almost over the line and it should be a very exciting event. Working with the team there is great, we really understand each other and value the many years we have worked together on so many successful events.
