Podcasts have been the saviour over the pandemic, offering entertainment, companionship and the source of rare new content that can be responsibly created while social distancing. Warwickshire events and hospitality consultancy business Hello Hospitality says 'Hello' to well-known industry personalities and business owners in a new podcast series named, 'Getting to Know You'.
Business owner Kathryn Clarke explains her inspiration for the new podcast: "The events and hospitality sectors have a wealth of business expertise, businesses and individuals have diversified in the face of adversity, innovating every day and new entrepreneurs emerging, each with interesting stories to tell. As we're missing making valued connections at face-to-face meetings, networking events and exhibitions we decided to podcast conversations with our industry colleagues where we delve deeper to find out more about them personally; their story, the impact the pandemic has had and future aspirations. We are excited to provide a new source of inspirational business content, the hope being that industry colleagues will listen in, creating a sense of community and conversation at a time when many are still furloughed, maybe feeling isolated and just missing professional interaction.”
“Each episode we will be chatting to associates from across different aspects of the events and hospitality sectors, about their businesses, how they started them, the highs and lows, and what their plans are for the future. Keen to gain opinion, inspiration and advise as well as little light-hearted fun and positivity, offering companionship and support at this critical time.”
“It’s an opportunity to grab a coffee and some time out to listen in to a brand-new episode every week and join the conversation by sending in any burning questions for our guests in advance.”
‘Getting to Know You’ welcomes Helen Saxton of Teams Unpuzzled in episode one, an associate partner of Hello Hospitality delivering Murder Mystery and Escape Room games for Hello Hospitality’s range of virtual experiences. Helen explains how she got hooked on 'Murder Mystery’, how sacking Santa led her to this point and an exciting new project she's working on. Intrigued?
Upcoming episodes feature interviews with Peter Ducker, Chief Executive, Institute of Hospitality, Paul Colston, Managing Editor, Mash Media Group, Neil Thompson, Delegate Wranglers, Mark Fanning, ACF Teambuilding, Sarah Spreckley, TLC Ltd, Lyndsey Taylor, Park Lane Events, Michelle Rees & Kate Bullard, EventProfsLive Network, Sarah Fountain, ODF Consulting, Julie Kent MBE discussing the Power of Giving, Kate Plowright and Amanda Baker, Selling Savvy and more besides.
