The Celtic Manor Resort and ICC Wales have secured two award wins at this year’s Eventex Awards, one of the industry’s leading global accolades for events and experiential marketing.
The Celtic Manor Resort won Gold in the newly created Hotel Venue category, recognising its delivery of large-scale international events, while ICC Wales was awarded Bronze in the Convention Centre category for its excellence in hosting complex, world-class business events.
At Celtic Manor Resort, 2025 saw continued growth across conferences and international programmes, including Credit Week, the Institute of Travel Management Spring Conference, and a major activation as the headquarters hotel for the AIG Women’s Open.
Alongside its commercial success, the judges were impressed with how the Resort continues to invest in apprenticeships, community initiatives and environmental performance improvements.
ICC Wales delivered a strong year of business events across corporate, association and government sectors, reinforcing its growing international reputation as a leading convention centre.
“We are incredibly proud to see the Celtic Manor Resort and ICC Wales recognised with these prestigious awards. This reflects the passion and professionalism of our teams and our commitment to delivering exceptional events with precision, care and consistency. It also reinforces Wales’ position as a destination for world-class meetings and conferences”.

The venue is also driving sector change through its accessibility initiative Access All Areas: Closing the Accessibility Gap in Events, which has reached millions globally and is helping organisers rethink how events are designed and delivered. Future business remains strong, with major international congresses confirmed.
