Leopold Marketing Wins ‘Supplier of the Year’ at the Meetings Industry Association Awards 2025

Leopold Marketing has been crowned Supplier of the Year at the Meetings Industry Association (miaList) Awards 2025, recognising the agency’s exceptional contribution to the UK’s business events and destination marketing sector.

The Wales-based agency, founded by Leo Lloyd, triumphed against multi-million turnover national competitors to take home the top accolade. With just three full-time team members, Leopold Marketing has made a major impact across the global meetings, incentives, conferences and events landscape — delivering creative exhibition experiences, strategic campaigns, and measurable results for destinations and venues across the UK and beyond.

In the past year alone, the agency delivered 16 bespoke exhibition stands at The Meetings Show 2025, representing more than 100 destinations and organisations across the show, including its first-ever country stand for Wales. This marked a 40-fold increase in presence since 2022.

The agency also collaborated on a landmark familiarisation trip for Marketing Manchester, which showcased the city to key international association buyers and generated over £10 million in potential economic impact for the city — a remarkable 100:1 return on investment.

“We’re absolutely over the moon at this result. To be recognised as Supplier of the Year is an incredible honour and testament to the passion, creativity, and dedication of our small but mighty team. I am so incredibly proud of the team who work tirelessly, always going over and above, to bring every project to fruition to the exceptional standard we have become known for. We care deeply about our clients’ success — and this award celebrates everything we stand for: quality, collaboration, and results.”

Leopold Marketing’s commitment to its clients is more than professional — it’s personal. When regional partners in Coventry and Warwickshire were left without support to exhibit at The Meetings Show, Leopold Marketing stepped in to negotiate attendance at the show, designing a shared stand and donating their time to ensure the venues could still engage with buyers. This collaborative, people-first approach defines everything they do.

The agency also champions sustainability and industry development through its ESSA membership and mentoring work with event management students at Manchester Metropolitan University, nurturing the next generation of event professionals.
