Selling Savvy, a revolutionary way to increase sales revenue and conversion rates in the events and hospitality industry, has today announced it has expanded its team with the appointment of Femke Millership, Amanda Baker and Becky Whitaker as associates of the company.

Founded by Kate Plowright in September 2018, Selling Savvy offers regular, lively, jam-packed workshops with procedures that are proven to increase sales.

Now covering 90% of the UK, Selling Savvy has four associates based across different areas of the country who will be offering unique training in your area. If you want your sales team to be more accountable for their actions whilst feeling empowered to make the right strategic decisions to grow revenue, then Selling Savvy might be right for you.

Femke Millership brings more than 18 years of experience in the event industry and will be heading up Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.

Amanda Baker has 25 years experience in the hospitality, leisure and tourism sector. Amanda will be in charge of Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire. Oxfordshire, Somerset and Devon.

Having worked at Marriot Hotels for more than a decade, Becky Whitaker brings a wealth of sales knowledge to the team and will be managing North Yorkshire, Lancashire, West Yorkshire, Greater Manchester and Merseyside.

Commenting on the appointments, Selling Savvy’s founder and director Kate Plowright says: “Having built a strong Selling Savvy community in Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire I knew there was an opportunity to help hotels, venues and the wider events industry in different areas of the company, but I never wanted to lose that ‘local’ feel.
“You can do a lot of training by yourself and with your team, but you can do so much more when learning from your peers around you. Selling Savvy is a training company that likes to do things differently. We have always had a local ethos; believing that working with your competitors is better that working against.” Plowright added.
