Selling Savvy, a revolutionary way to increase sales revenue and conversion rates in the events and hospitality industry, has today announced it was named Start up Business of the Year by Eagle Radio.

Recognised for its originality, clear business model and innovative nature, Selling Savvy was crowned for its significant growth in the first 18 months and its potential for sustained growth in the future.

Founded by Kate Plowright in September 2018, Selling Savvy offers regular, lively, jam-packed workshops with procedures that are niche within the events industry and proven to increase sales.

With experience in proactive sales, reactive sales and management of conversion strategies within hospitality, Selling Savvy was born from Kate seeing ineffective training methods in place.

“I am absolutely over the moon that Selling Savvy has won this prestigious award. I have put in a huge amount of work over the past 18 months and winning this award reinforces that it has all been worth it,” said Kate Plowright, founder and director of Selling Savvy.
“As a local business, this recognition means the world to me and I am very grateful for Eagle Radio and the community’s backing of Selling Savvy – we’ve got big plans for the future!” Plowright added.
