The Delegate Wranglers® announce that they have been selected from millions of other communities worldwide to participate in the 2021 Facebook Community Accelerator - a program focused on helping leaders harness the power of their community to turn ideas into action. During the eight month program, participants will receive training, mentorship and funds to invest in an initiative that extends their community’s positive impact.
Only 131 participants across nine global regions have been selected to participate in this 8 month program which includes coaching, training and access to new Facebook products, tools and funding including:
- Training and Coaching: Custom training, one-on-one coaching and meaningful partnerships
- Access to New Products: Products aimed at helping you manage and activate your community
- Funding: Facebook will work with GlobalGiving to help fund your community’s initiatives

One of only ten communities selected from the UK, The Delegate Wranglers team will undergo extensive business coaching & training over the next 8 months to help learn, grow and scale the business for the benefit of it's members. It is the start of new connections between these community leaders and like-minded local community advocates who can work together to do even more good - by developing their leadership skills, and make better use of Facebook's tools to maximize community impact.
The Community Accelerator is part of the Facebook Community Leadership Program, a global initiative that invests in people building communities - benefits include:
Strengthen Their Community
Selected community leaders will spend five months learning from experts, coaches and a customized curriculum so they can organize and strengthen their community to work better together. Lessons include community identity foundations, leading action-oriented communities and sustainability. Participants will also receive early access to new Facebook products aimed at helping communities better manage and activate their members.
Plan Their Initiative
Participants will identify an important initiative that will create a positive impact on the broader world and develop a plan to mobilize their community around their goal. Initiatives will be shared with an audience of potential partners, mentors and a panel of judges for the chance to be awarded additional funding and receive public recognition.
Execute
Participants will then spend three months executing their initiatives. They will collaborate with advocates and leaders in the community space and work with the Facebook team to bring their ideas to life.
