Stadium Experience is pleased to announce that the 18th annual Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards will be hosted at the American Express Stadium, home of Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club, on Thursday 3rd July 2025.

Around 450 guests from stadium venues across the UK will be welcomed to experience an exclusive fine dining four course menu, awards ceremony, live entertainment, and DJ after party onsite until 3am.

The Amex is one of the south coast’s most exciting conference, events and meeting venue beautifully based in the picturesque South Downs National Park, and boasts 10 stunning conference and event lounges as well as 23 executive boxes, which offer complete flexibility and are ideal for any size meeting, corporate or private and social event. The 2025 awards will be hosted in the stunning Mayo-Wynne Baxter Lounge, with guests sampling the club’s exclusive and award-winning ‘Tunnel Club’ menu, which will be produced by MasterChef: The Professionals winner, Steven Edwards.

“We are thrilled to be returning to Brighton for our 2025 awards. Brighton & Hove Albion FC were actually the big winners of the Overall Matchday Hospitality Award 2024. Visiting judges were particularly impressed with their brand-new Tunnel Club matchday offering, which our guests will be able to experience for themselves next summer! These will be the 18th annual awards organised by Stadium Experience, which continues to grow and evolve every single year. We have a very exciting evening planned, in which stadium teams will really be able to celebrate their achievements in style on the south coast!”

Collette Salmon, Chair of Stadium Experience

The nationally-recognised awards celebrate and reward the efforts and dedication shown by the catering, conference and events teams at UK stadium venues, including football, rugby and cricket venues.

Key Dates
The majority of categories for 2025 will open for entry in the next few weeks, with the closing date on Monday 31st March 2025. The official results will be announced at the gala awards evening on Thursday 3rd July 2025 - with the 2025 categories are currently being finalised

Independent Awards Judging
Each award category is independently judged (Stadium Experience does not judge any of the awards). Some categories are voted for by stadium directors, The British Culinary Federation organise and judge the Chef Team of the Year Award, and Salon Culinaire judge the Matchday Hospitality Awards. The majority of categories are decided by a team of experts with many years of experience in their fields, which vote for their top 3 entries.

Joe King, Divisional Director Sports and Stadia, from Sodexo Live! UK&I, the catering and hospitality partner for the Amex Stadium, said: “We are delighted that the 18th annual Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards will be hosted at Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club next year. We were incredibly proud to win 11 awards at the most recent ceremony in Leeds this year, including the prestigious Overall Matchday Hospitality Award for Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club, it therefore only feels fitting that next year’s event will take place there. This will be a fantastic opportunity to showcase our excellent facilities and the outstanding food we have on offer.”
