At its Annual General Meeting held yesterday at The Lansdowne Club, leading venue consortium Westminster Venue Collection announced its new, expanded board formation.

Barbara Wutte – The Royal Society, resumes the Chair of the Board of Directors position, taking over the mantle from Paul Martins, who remains a board member. Wutte has been integral to the Collection’s board since 2017, helping to drive its vision and portfolio growth, in the roles of Chair, Vice Chair and supporting board member.

She is joined by a new Vice Chair - Clare Brace from IET Venues, and three new board members:

Medina Williamson - The Lansdowne Club

Christine Milburn-Philpott –One Birdcage Walk

Stephan Trockle – Lumiere London

The increase in board members follows a record year of growth and development for Westminster Venue Collection. With the strategic support of its digital marketing partner, Patch Marketing, the portfolio has seen a membership increase of over 50% year-on-year, now totaling over 50 venues. 2024 also saw the launch of a series of CSI themed familiarisation trips, delivered with Huxley Events, to showcase the versatility of the Collection’s venues to event planners.

With over 175 years of combined industry experience, Westminster Venue Collection’s new board is expertly placed to support its continual growth throughout 2025.

"I’m delighted to be returning as Chair and to build on the incredible success we’ve achieved this past year through our progressive strategy. Our diverse venue portfolio now offers organisers a huge wealth of choice for hosting world-class events in the historic City of Westminster. I’d like to thank Paul for his leadership and I’m excited to welcome our newest board members. Together, we will be focused on generating significant returns for our members, through multi-channel marketing campaigns, attendance at key industry exhibitions, hosted showcase and networking events for our ever-growing client base.”
