Published by Neil ThompsonThe winners of the annual ICE Awards 2022 were announced a few days ago at a gala dinner that bought together some of the biggest corporate brands working in events. The ceremony took place at the Southbank Centre on the River Thames and saw over 200 event professionals celebrate the best of corporate events.
The awards, which only recognizes teams and events produced by in house corporate event planners saw brands including BBC Studios, SAP Sapphire, EY, Currys, Siemens, Equinix, and the NSPCC all pick up awards. The categories themselves varied from ‘Best Motivational Event’ to ‘Agency Collaboration’ and Most Disruptive Event’. The awards also recognized team contributions, as well as those that had addressed hybrid technology and shown dynamism throughout the last 24 months.
“We are the only event that focuses solely on the in-house event professional and the unique set of challenges they face as a community. These awards continue to give them a platform to showcase their work and be rewarded for it,” commented Anita Howard, Founder & CEO ICE. “We hope they can take this recognition back to their companies and use it as another reason to invest in event people and events as a meaningful contribution to business.”
The ICE Awards UK were not only run in tandem with the organisation’s ICE Conference, earlier on in the afternoon, but also the ICE Awards Germany, which took place this week. The German awards saw brands including Bain & Co., Siemens, Philip s and BioNTech all receive much deserved recognition.
