Welcome To Scurry Events
Scurry Events was initially set up to run Scurry to the Sea. A unique 12 mile urban orienteering event, starting up in the Pentlands and finishing on the beach at Musselburgh. Linking and navigating various trails throughout Edinburgh.
Since 2018 we have introduced 12 new Scurry Events and there are more in the planning. These events aim to be fun, safe and look to create a community spirit. Each event supports a separate charity or voluntary organisation while we aim to promote a healthy lifestyle.
In 2021 we first ran the Scurry2bridges 100 mile team relay which is now back in 2023 after some excellent feedback in year 1. This event is well suited to corporate team building and is a great challenge for teams of 4 to enjoy a full day out. Connecting the event industry since 2014
Launched in Feb 2014, we've gone from strength to strength throughout the UK, Europe and overseas and as a result of this positive action & growth, the group were made an official Managed Community Partner of Facebook in 2019, And in 2021 we were selected from millions of other communities worldwide to participate in the Facebook Community Accelerator - a program focused on helping leaders harness the power of their community to turn ideas into action.
