I’m Carly, a freelance event manager with over 15 years’ experience delivering corporate events and hospitality.

I’ve spent 12 years in-house within financial services, followed by the past 3 years working freelance agency-side across multiple sectors, as well as delivering events directly within the healthcare space. This breadth of experience allows me to adapt quickly and integrate seamlessly into different teams.

What types of events do you support?

I work across corporate events - exhibitions, conferences, team building, hospitality programmes and sponsorship activations.

Do you work in-house or with agencies?

Both. I regularly support event agencies as an extension of their team, and I also work directly with corporate clients who need experienced freelance support for upcoming projects.

What level of responsibility can you take on?

I’m comfortable running entire workstreams independently or slotting into an existing team structure. I’m used to managing VIPs, senior stakeholders, ambassadors and complex logistics.

Can you join a project mid-way through or at short-notice?

Absolutely, subject to availability! I’m often brought in during the final planning stages or even close to delivery. I pick things up quickly, adapt fast and help stabilise busy teams.
