For our latest SUPPLIER FOCUS feature, we caught up with the fab Emily Kendall to find a little bit about her and her role at Searcys
Q. In a nutshell, tell us about where you work and your role there.
A. For the past year I have been fortunate enough to work pro-actively within the Exclusive Events Team at Searcys. This fantastic team offers corporate bookers an agency styled service whereby we can propose an individual or multiple venue options for individual bookings working to the client’s budget, location & capacities. Working pro-actively within this role allows me to positively promote Searcys as a whole and be a part of so many incredible London & UK venues.
Q. How did you get started in the industry?
A. I think like many of us, I fell into the Events and Hospitality Industry, but what a great industry to be in! I started managing a local pub and their events, before moving into catering.
Q. Best moment for you at your company so far?
A. Searcys offers so much internal growth, I have been incredibly well supported and moved from strength to strength, bettering my positions over the past 3.5 years.
Q. How can your organisation’s services make a Delegate Wrangler’s life easier?
A. Exclusive Events have a portfolio of 21 desirable and eclectic venues across London & The UK – and we’re still growing! We operate a venue finding and catering service to corporate bookers within the Searcys portfolio. Our extensive venue knowledge allows us to find your perfect venue, setting and overall, creating the perfect event.
Q. And finally - you’ve got one question to ask a famous person – who would it be and what would you ask?
A. Is Mindy Weiss?! I’ve been following her Instagram for so long and am incredibly inspired by everything she pulls together! I’d have to ask what’s her favourite part of pulling together any event.
