For our latest SUPPLIER FOCUS feature, we caught up with Andy Dingley of the fab Fews Marquees to find out all about them and how they could help you guys with your next event!
Q. In a nutshell, tell us about your business
A. Fews Marquees are a leading supplier of temporary structures for every kind of event, and are proud to have a strong reputation for service and quality, providing turnkey solutions to a wide range of clientele. For over 19 years we have been creating solutions for corporate clients, event agencies, educational and government organisations, alongside weddings and parties.
Q. How did you guys get started in the industry?
A. Ian Few started out organising events for Young Farmers, which lead to being asked to organise parties for friends. He invested in his first marquee to meet the demand and the business grew from there, moving into weddings, corporate events and finally being able to undertake work in every sector.
Q. Best moment for you at your company so far?
A. Providing our Igloo structure for the post event party at Ascot. It gave us the opportunity to showcase our latest structure, but also provide hospitality to our clients, family and friends. We were genuinely able to demonstrate how far the business had evolved. It was a day to remember.
Q. How can your organisation’s services make a Delegate Wrangler’s life easier?
A. We offer a fully managed service, and each client has an allocated project manager who also acts as a single point of contact. At Fews we put service at the centre of our philosophy to make sure that the structure is one part of your event you don’t have to worry about.
Q. And finally - you’ve got one question to ask a famous person. Who would it be and what would you ask?
A. Tom Hanks. When you were working on Forrest Gump, who was your inspiration for the character?
