For our latest 'Supplier Focus' feature, we caught up with Thomas Greenaway, Director of ST Events to find a little bit about him and what he does
Q. In a nutshell, tell us about your business and your role there
A. I'm a DJ and Director of ST Events. We are an event services company providing DJs, Photobooths, Photo & Video and Event Production to private and corporate events.
Q. How did you get started in the industry?
A. I studied Music Tech at Leeds, producing music, DJing and also running a few small events. Once back in London, I began DJing in clubs/bars and also took on a few private gigs before starting ST Events. 10 years later I'm working with a great team and love my job!
Q. Best moment for you at your company so far?
A. Being a DJ allows me to see so many cool locations and productions. One of my favourite jobs recently was for a NYE party in the Shard. I was the 'highest' DJ in Europe. Apparently there was a DJ at the Burj Khalifa that pushed me off the world top spot but I'm waiting for the call-up. Delegates?
Q. How can your organisation’s services make a Delegate Wrangler’s life easier?
A. We operate a small team, own all of our own equipment and make it cost effective to book quality entertainment services for your event.
