The main Streatham Campus lies within walking distance of the historical city of Exeter, the jewel in the South West – a small city with a big heart.

- Are you a sustainable venue?
- Event Exeter aligns itself with the University's Strategy 2030 and the ambition to create a greener, healthier and fairer future. Recognising the environmental, social and economic impacts of events, the team are committed to embedding environmentally friendly practices across all areas of event delivery. The team has worked hard to achieve a Gold Green Meetings accreditation and a Platinum ECOSmart certicification and their Sustainable Event Policy encourages collaborative thinking among event organisers, suppliers and attendees.
- Is it easy to get to you?
- Located just off the M5 motorway, Exeter is a very well-connected city. With a mainline train station, London is just 2 hours away and our international airport allows easy travel from a whole host of destinations. We do have parking on campus but encourage our guests to use public transport where possible. The main train station is a short walk from the campus and there are frequent buses serving the University.
- Do you offer catering?
- We have an in-house team of award-winning chefs who are incredibly passionate about delivering consistently high quality food to a variety of audiences. Food plays a huge role in the success of our events and our talented chefs consistently create innovative menus, working with responsible suppliers to ensure we continue to reduce our environmental impact, without jeopardising the quality of our offering. We have the highest possible grading in the SRA Food Made Good standard and even have our very own kitchen garden on site, which provides us with a plethora of fresh seasonal ingredients.
- Can you offer delegate activities?
- We are fortunate enough to be surrounded by green parkland, stunning botanical gardens as well as a 38 acre designated area of biodiversity. These areas lend themselves perfectly to wellbeing activities and team building, nature walks or are perfect as outdoor breakout spaces. We work in collaboration with the University Sports Park and outdoor swimming pool. Delegates can make use of these facilities or we can arrange specific activities tailored to your requirements. We also have strong links with other activity providers in the city, should you be looking for something a little more unique.
- Do you have on-site accommodation
- During the Easter and Summer vacation periods we have access to a variety of accommodation on site, making it an ideal location for a fully self-contained conference or event. Outside of vacation times, we work in collaboration with local hotels and accommodation providers which enables us to continue to provide a the full eventing package.
