Unreal Events offers 8 virtual reality sporting activities, including golf, clay pigeon shooting, tennis, archery, racing, fishing, sailing and drone racing.
Each is designed to slot seamlessly into your overall event, requiring as little as 1.5m x 1.5m of space, as a fully hosted entertainment experience.
We provide all the equipment, including a large TV for spectators to follow the action, a 2.4m backdrop, leaderboard, themed flooring and premium sporting VR accessories (club / shotgun / racquet / bow / rod) where available.
These pop-up activities have proved fantastic at a wide range of event types, for clients including BT, The Jockey Club, Sodexo and a global hotel chain, in creating a fun, competitive, immersive, novel experience.
Can't decide which sport would work best? Why not combine more than one, or even for smaller / internal groups, run a Virtual Sports Day?!

- What's Included?
- Travel to your event location. Setup, taking around 1 hour. Up to 4 hours of gameplay, supervised by a professional, engaging host. VR headsets (1 in use at a time - multiple concurrently at extra cost). Accessories to support performance, comfort and hygiene. Your choice of game(s), all officially licensed for your event setting. Large TV on stand for spectators to follow the action. Leaderboard, updated by us throughout the event. Magnum of champagne prize for any Holes in One (VR Golf, 18+). Variety of gameplay formats, depending on game(s) selected. Large 2.4m x 2.4m banner backdrop. Safety barriers. Specialist public liability insurance.
- Can I have custom branding?
- Absolutely! Our standard backdrop is 2.4m x 2.4m and can be customised to any design you wish - just supply us with a high resolution, square image, and we’ll do the rest! We charge £200+VAT for printing, and the banner (fits frame with top and bottom pole) is yours to keep after the event. We can also offer custom branded floor mats, stretch tablecloths and polo shirts for our hosts to wear - enquire for pricing. For some of the games, if you’re looking for real wow factor, and have a healthy budget, we can even offer in-game custom branding!
- How quick is the throughput of delegates?
- It depends on which sport you choose, but each has short game formats ranging from 2 to 5 minutes. Looking to entertain more than 12-30 delegates per hour? Then book multiple concurrent headsets, and double, triple or quadruple these numbers!
- Doesn't VR cause motion sickness?
- Historically, this was common. However, in addition to technological advancements (i.e. lower latency). we’ve taken several steps to minimise if not irradicate the risk of this occurring. These include providing a tactile floor surface, specifying games with teleport and ‘snap turn’ options, and running short game formats. Please contact us to discuss any remaining concerns. We’ve yet to have a single complaint of motion sickness at any events.
- How much space is needed?
- It depends on the sport selected, but most operate comfortably in 2m x 2m of floorspace (1.5m x 1.5m in some cases), with the exception tennis, which needs at least 3m x 3m. Standard height ceilings are fine for most sports, apart from tennis where 3m+ ceilings are recommended.
