As you approach the hotel itself, it’s impossible to ignore the old-world style countryside that surrounds the Hall like a centuries old landscape painting - it really is so scenic. After checking in at reception, we viewed the beautiful spaces of Mottram Hall, two of their fantastic communal areas await: The Champagne Bar and The Library (remove Garden Room). These spaces really set the tone for the hotel, with an eclectically designed, yet luxurious feeling, that makes you want to crash into their comfy chairs with a glass of bubbly. But we had even better in store, the bedrooms were up next, and the rooms here at Mottram Hall are an absolute treat.
Within the last decade, the bedrooms at Mottram Hall have had multiple renovations to keep them to the absolute highest standards, this includes the bathrooms, meaning getting ready for an event just got a whole lot more luxury. The views from many rooms over the lawn are stunning, with some suites on the ground floor, you can open your French windows almost directly onto the natural outdoor beauty. There’s 119 stylish bedrooms here. Mottram Hall mentions the word “boutique” often when discussing these rooms, and this stunning venue really does have that feeling, quirky, yet true to its centuries old routes in regality. This hotel has lots of impressive interiors to show off, and the bedrooms are no exception.
Not to be forgotten are the hotels most premium options when staying for your next event, whether that be board meeting or wedding, there’s 7 suites and a stunning bridal suite with a 5 star feel, to cover all the bases you may need. There’s also an opulent bridal prep room for the big day!

The hotel’s location is no exception to how exceptional this place really is: 15 minutes from Manchester airport, you can touchdown, and crash out moments later. We teased some of the stunning facilities in the introduction to this venue showcase, and truthfully, we’ve been itching to tell you all about how incredible they are. Let’s start with the incredible Champneys spa. There’s a reason this place is frequented by some of the country’s top athletes, the facilities here are really cutting edge, meaning you get the most refreshing, relaxing wind-down imaginable.
The main pool room is a stylish swimming space, no inch of eye-popping beauty is lost in sacrifice for the incredible functionality that this spa has. You feel cool just being in the room, beautiful detailing, feature lights and high-end furnishings, it doesn’t get much better than this.
As for the different rooms within the spa complex at Mottram Hall, some of our favourites being the Brechel sauna, the Cold Room and the Salt Steam Room. There were so many different types of luxurious ways to relax here. This would be the perfect way to wind down after the hustle and bustle of a large scale event. Spa and Gym usage can be added to client packages at an extra cost, so you can ensure the whole team is recharged and raring to go!
Mottram Hall also boasts some truly stellar dining options, their main offering “The Carrington Grill '' has recently been awarded the AA Rosette, proving the catering facilities here as some of the best in the business. The relaxed Barney’s brassiere has a calm, mellow vibe to the place, yet still ensures that luxurious feeling with the fantastic food available. Speaking of fantastic food, Mottram Hall has also opened their newest restaurant, Raffaella’s, which continues the high standards set by the venue’s other eateries, by using high quality cuts and the very best local produce.

If you thought the rest of the venue was impressive, wait until you see and hear about the meeting rooms on offer here at Mottram Hall. The venue has 11 meeting spaces all conveniently lining one conference hub, which has a dedicated refreshments lounge. This area feels separate from the busiest areas of the venue and allows your corporate event to be tranquil and private, accompanied by some stellar views. All these suites are on the ground floor with versatile registration options available, delegates can register at the door of your chosen meeting room, or you can opt to use the old lobby for guests checking into your next event.
Meeting Space Highlight: St Andrews Suite
The St Andrew Suite has recently undergone a stunning refurbishment as part of the venue’s £5,000,000 ground floor renovation plan. The space is now brighter, airy-er and feels like a must for any larger scale event like a dinner, awards night or wedding. There’s a bar that can also be closed off with voile if it’s not that kind of event! This room is also up to spec when it comes to AV requirements, with an 8ft screen available to be front and centre of any presentation necessary, light and microphones can make this fantastic space feel intimate and focussed.

The perfect banquet dinner spot, this suite boasts views over the stunning championship golf course that Mottram Hall have on site, this neutrally designed room is within the Barney’s lounge mentioned above. Kitted out as always with a screen and projector to boot, this is a fantastic mid-size meeting room with that warm luxurious decor you can come to expect at Mottram Hall.

This is a stunning venue with stunning touches at every corner… almost too many to mention. The space here really is something that you need to see yourself, things like the library off the reception that provides this incredible afternoon tea spot, almost transporting you back to the time of the building’s establishment. The team here have clearly worked hard to ensure that the character of this estate has been retained despite millions of pounds of refurbishments keeping the venue light, bright and up to date. That’s a hard balance to strike, but they’ve nailed it here at Mottram Hall, and you can colour us impressed.
