In terms of location, the Resort is located in County Antrim, 10 minutes from the town of Ballymena, 20 minutes from the International Airport and 30 minutes from the city centre. And Galgorm is steeped in history…​

Located on the site of a pre-1600 castle, the demesne dating from the early 17th century. The fine Jacobean house remains, having been altered and modernised in 1830 and 1857.​ ​Purchased by Nicholas & Paul Hill in 1991 they have invested over 60 million in the years since and with their innovation and vision have created the Worldwide recognised Resort it is today.

As you arrive at Galgorm, you are immediately impressed by the easy charm and coolness that the place oozes from every nook and cranny. This is exemplified by the world famous doorman Maurice, who greats you warmly on arrival. Reception is just a few steps away past a roaring fire - already we fell in love! It's one of those venues that is just super cool, without having to work at it. And there's not one single ounce of stuffiness here. The staff were all tremendously friendly and warm.

The bedrooms here were beautifully appointed throughout, as you would expect with all rooms overlooking the Thermal Spa Village or the fab views of their 163-acre estate. What's not to love. Swimming Pool:
Thermal Spa Village (included in B&B rate). One of the largest Thermal Spas in the UK with extensive indoor and outdoor facilities; including but not limited to: swimming pool (20m), hydrotherapy pool, saunas (barrel saunas, sanarium, celtic sauna infusion) steam rooms, snow cabin, salt cave, multiple outdoor hot tubs, private bathing experiences and relaxation areas, including the Palm House and Elements Halo Dome offering robed dining and cocktails.

Treatment Rooms:
13 treatment rooms including two duo treatment rooms, offering a full range of body and facial treatments using Aromatherapy Associates. Skin Clinic offering Image and SkinCeuticals procedures as well as ‘tweakments’.

Restaurants & Bars:
You are absolutely spoiled for choice here at Galgorm. from the 3AA Rosettes of the River Room through to McKendrys traditional Irish pub, there is something for everyone and every kind of mood. Our favourite spot here was the fabulous Gin Library boasting hundreds of different types of Gins - wow!

Separate to the main hotel and with a stunning waterfall as a backdrop, the Great Hall oozes charm and sophistication. The Suite was recently unveiled after an extensive refurbishment to enhance its unique classical features. The Great Hall features its own private entrance, separate lounge areas with an open fire and a flexible main function space. The Suite offers the perfect setting for gala evenings, exhibitions and conferences.

The Renaissance Suite offers a truly breathtaking setting. The suite is finished in a classic style with a contemporary edge, featuring bespoke Italian leather and ebony chairs that combine to create a truly chic finish. A state-of-the-art lighting system allows you to tailor the ambience of the room with the colour theme for your corporate event.

Four Seasons Suite
The Four Seasons Suite features its own private entrance; a sleek reception area, leading through to the exquisite main function room which merges classical lines with a contemporary design. Outside you will find a private formal garden complete with breath-taking bespoke water feature. The Four Seasons Suite is perfect for more intimate dinners and receptions, smaller exhibitions and conferences. We absolutely loved this room - especially with the lounge area and it super-cool open fire and sofas - wow!
