Want a truly international place to host your next event? Try opposite the runway at Heathrow Airport for size! Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport is just that. Brilliantly located next to one of the world's largest airports, this is one of the best-linked venues we’ve visited.
The location is in the title, but Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport proved for us to do so much more than it said on the tin. This is a fantastic solution for meetings and events, with twelve meeting rooms that are extremely flexible, and can work together as syndicate spaces, seamlessly.
Every bedroom here is spotless, super tidy and finished off with triple-glazed windows so the planes can never be heard, no matter how close! Same goes for the meeting rooms. It’s the touches like that that make this brilliant venue standout, it’s a sophisticated option for events from 2 delegates to 100!
We arrived at Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport super easily by car – although its brilliantly linked in just about every way. By air goes without saying, but all train stops for Heathrow train station are connected by a shuttle bus that will run you too and from the hotel.
We parked up in the 72 space car-park (with 4 electric charging places) underneath the hotel and made our way to the lobby. We were really impressed by this greeting space, it’s smart, well designed with a nice Scandi / minimalist vibe, and a long sweeping reception desk front and centre - this’ll make a great impression on delegates as they arrive.
Once we were checked in, we had a quick nosey around the ground level before we made our way to our room. The bar / lounge area is just off to the left of the reception, and is a quiet, comfortable space to wind down with a wine - but more on this later.
Our room was modern and stylish. There’s a clean look to all the 341 bedrooms in this large hotel. Each room has an individual workspace to get any last-minute jobs done or clean up some notes from the day's meetings. There’s also 42” HD televisions and free Wi-Fi in every room, with most of them having great views over the airport. Watching planes land and take-off all day long is something to behold, even if you can’t hear them, thanks to the soundproofed windows.

This is a big hotel, with tons of meeting space and even more bedrooms. That said, Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport has still found space for a welcoming and comfortable gym, with a little bit more equipment and space than your average hotel gym.
The Catering setup here is a knockout. They’ve got one bar “coffee to cocktail” the one we explored earlier, which is really cozy, with blue accents and premium finishes. There’s some expert baristas and mixologists on the team here, that really embody the 4 star service this hotel provides.
The venue’s restaurant is called The Gallery. This is a contemporary space that never feels stuck up or unwelcoming, we had an amazing salmon with asparagus, but you can tuck into everything here, from a 9 oz ribeye to roast salmon or a veggie tagine. The menus - whether it’s breakfast, all-day dining or dinner - are all packed with fresh, locally sourced goodness (and yes, there’s baked cheesecake and profiteroles for afters).
Although there’s no outdoor space for team building at this hotel, there is plethora of indoor meeting space, which means there’s more than enough room for plenty of activities inside - think themed escape rooms or team quizzes.
Despite all the fantastic elements of this hotel so far, we’ve got to be honest, the meeting rooms are the real stars of the show. This venue has it nailed with its smart and flexible setting for meetings and events. As we mentioned before, there’s 12 modern spaces that can be tailored to everything from intimate boardroom sessions to mid-sized conferences for up to 100 delegates.
Honestly, there’s not much this Hyatt can’t handle - but we think it really shines for training days, workshops, product launches and corporate away-days. All the spaces here just seem to complement each other so well, there’s a real free-flowing feel to the 10 small meeting rooms on the ground floor. Each of these spaces have natural daylight and typically set up boardroom-style for 10 people.
AV comes as standard across all rooms (love it), and every space is kitted out with its own Nespresso machine. If it weren’t for the views, you’d never guess you were just five minutes from Europe’s busiest airport. Picking just three meeting space highlights was genuinely tough - there are another eight rooms just as impressive that didn’t make the cut, waiting to be discovered.
Meeting Space Highlight: Blue sky suite
The first meeting space we had a full tour of was the impressive Blue Sky Suite. Up on the 6th floor this room is an inspired space. Flooded with natural light (thanks to more of their huge triple-glazed windows) and boasting sweeping views of Heathrow’s runways, this room brings a “wow” factor to workshops, presentations or breakout sessions. There’s also a private foyer before entering the room which really adds an exclusive welcome vibe. There’s also AV included and a Nespresso machine in-room. We felt this space delivered both style and flexibility. This is a top-notch space for full-day strategy meets or creative sessions where the environment really counts.

Meeting Space Highlight: Event Space 4
Down on the lower ground floor, Event Space 4 is your go-to for theatre-style presentations or large-group get-togethers—think off-site briefings or keynote talks. Although there’s no natural daylight and a couple of structural pillars, it’s more about focus than ambiance, but its built-in AV setup is bang-on for crisp sound and visuals. We really like how this space can be used in tandem with event space 5, too.

Meeting Space Highlight: Event Space 16
Our last highlight is a really nimble, flexible space perfect for corporate gatherings. You could do syndicate sessions, interviews, or breakout workshops here. Daylight’s on hand, AV tech is sorted, and yes, there’s still a Nespresso machine for mid-morning pick-me-ups. We found this room cosy without feeling cramped, great for groups of around 20–30 or as one of your syndicate rooms if you’ve got a main event elsewhere. Sweet spot? Multi-day or multi-stream meetings where teams can work in different spaces under one roof.
