Following an investment of almost 185,000 man hours, erecting 1500 tonnes of steel and installing 500km of specialist data cabling, ICC Belfast opened their doors on Friday 29 April 2016.

Conveniently located within a 10-minute walk of the city centre, it's in a truly special location on the edge of the River Lagan with spectacular views down the River. Offering over 7000m² of flexible event space this state-of-the-art venue is super flexible, with meeting spaces to accommodate all manner of events. ICC Belfast is perfectly placed at the heart of Belfast city centre, just 5km and 25km from George Best Belfast City Airport and Belfast International Airport respectively. The transfer time from Dublin Airport to Belfast is only 90 minutes, offering additional route options to delegates and exhibitors. Visitors wishing to travel by bus or train can alight at the Waterfront stop or Lanyon Place station, both of which are a two-minute walk from the venue. Ample parking is available at the APOCA Lanyon Place car park and the Hilton Belfast multi-storey car parks and discounted rates can be negotiated too.

ICC Belfast work to deliver a city wide events by working in collaboration with partners such as Visit Belfast and Tourism Northern Ireland and can provide a full city bid specifying options for your social programme, and comprehensive list of hotel accommodation at different price points for your delegates.

ICC Belfast is spread over three floors plus a mezzanine level, all of which are accessible via lift, stairs and escalator.

Wi-fi: The venue boasts HP Aruba wireless infrastructure, which can support up to 5000 simultaneous users with multiple devices. 86 high-density Wi-Fi access points across the whole venue provide 100% coverage 100% of the time. Isolated for delegate use only, it’s accessible via a branded portal; providing opportunities for sponsorship and conference branding. Delegates and organisers can access this system free of charge

Thanks to recent investments, ICC Belfast is equipped with state-of-the-art technology including NI’s largest Absen LED wall and 4K PTZ cameras in every meeting space in the venues, allowing the team to deliver world-class hybrid-by design-events and provide a multi-sensory experience that is truly unique to Belfast.

Meeting Space Highlights

Main Auditorium
The Main Auditorium is a truly spectacular space. The honeycomb-style seating blocks can be sectioned off so whether it’s a plenary session for 400 delegates or 2,200 delegates, it can be adapted to create a comfortable environment. Drapes and gobo projection have been used by many past clients to create a more intimate space and the experienced event hosts can help to guide delegate flow, ensuring the space is used to its full potential

Hall 1
The larger of ICC Belfast’s two exhibition halls offers 1805m2 flat floor carpeted space with a ceiling height ranging from 5 – 9m and access to underfloor utilities for power, waste and water connections. A goods lift that comes directly from our service yard can take up to 4000kg weight so bringing cars or other unique exhibition builds in this space is entirely possible and there is also a VIP link directly to the adjoining Hilton Hotel. Hall 1 can be divided into four separate spaces, each with individual access points or used as one large space.

The Studio
The Studio provides an intimate and completely flexible theatre space with dedicated entrances from two levels, suitable for smaller conference sessions or exhibitions. Located adjacent to Main Auditorium, the Studio seats between 90 and 380 delegates in a tiered seating arrangement, which can be removed entirely to create over 500sqm of open space on the ground floor. Floor projection works particularly well in the Studio, adding an immersive dimension to presentations that brings content to life.

The studio allows you to have your event, your way. With multiple set up solutions from high stools, comfy sofas to a more formal lectern and top table, you can deliver your message in the environment you are most comfortable in. ​They can also adapt the space to reflect your brand, with custom graphic sets, green-screen effects and LED wall backdrops.
