Wi-fi: Yes, free Wi-Fi is available for all guests and worked really well during our visit.

Fitness gym: Yes, and it was a decent size too, coming equipped with cross-trainer, bike, treadmill and multigym.

Spa & Swimming Pool:

We love it up here. How many city centre townhouses in the UK boast an infinity spa pool? Situated on the 7th floor and overlooking Manchester Town hall is the relaxation area that includes a steam room, relaxation room and an infinity spa pool. Although petite in size (4x4 metres), the mesmeric panoramic view from the spa pool is vast, and a great way to unwind after a hard day. A superb range of spa treatments are also available on the 3rd floor.

RESTAURANTS & BARS

The stylish King Street Tavern is your all-day dining destination and is situated next to reception on the ground floor. With it’s soft lighting and eclectic style, you’ll have chance to enjoy everything from sharing plates to homemade, locally sourced dishes. We had a lovely time in there thanks to the great food and fantastic staff, where we were able to sit back and soak in the cool vibe from the comfort of one of their lavish booths.

Alternatively, you can always choose to treat yourself to their sought after Afternoon Tea in the utterly sumptuous Afternoon Tea Lounge. Whether you opt for the traditional sweet treats & finger sandwiches or choose to try their more wholesome offering including canapé style bites (think mini beef burgers, chips and chicken goujons) you will not be disappointed! A great idea and great food! Even if you’re not staying here, you should definitely visit when you’re in the area.

MEETING / CONFERENCE ROOMS

There are a number of rooms available for events at King Street Townhouse that can accommodate anything from a private dining for two, all the way up to an evening drinks reception for 150 people. While the main four rooms are discussed below, two other spaces known as, the Wine Cellar and the Screening Room are also available.

Of these two, the Wine Cellar with its beautiful vaulted bricked ceiling would be the perfect getaway for a more intimate dining experience for up to 16 persons. Adjacent to the Wine Cellar, is the luxurious Screening room with its state-of-the-art screen and sound system. We believe that this, together with its cinema seating for up to 20 people, would be an amazing place for private parties or screenings.

South Terrace & Lounge

Undoubtedly, the South Terrace and Lounge is one of the hotel’s meeting space highlights. With it’s fabulous dual aspect fireplace that heats both indoors and out on the terrace, overhead canopy and heat lamps, and a covered feature BBQ station this space is equipped to host incredible events whatever the weather. This flexibility, combined with spectacular views, alfresco furniture and a chic ambiance creates a mesmerising space that your delegates will absolutely love!
