Larchfield Estate

Dating back to 1660 Larchfield Estate has been on quite the fantastic journey to get to where it is today. There's just so much history here, with it's Georgian mansion house (ideal as a film location) & the 19th Century Barn, as well as the newer additions like the Orangery and its fabulous cottages - the place just oozes quality. The finish and upkeep on everything here is breath-takingly good. As you drive down the impressive tree lined guest entrance you can sense it. From the cobbled courtyards to the 600 acres of gorgeous walled gardens, woodland and riverbanks, you are often left in awe at the beauty of Larchfield. What a place to host your events. Wow.

So, where to start with Larchfield? There's just so much to tell you about! The gorgeous 19th Century Barn is the ideal place to kick us off. It's a thing of rustic beauty, with it's stone walls, lovely open ceiling and separate bar area - the ideal venue for dinners, weddings and also for conferences too - especially for those REALLY special occasions. We loved the Old Piggery too - tons of natural daylight and an excellent place to take lunch or to gather before doing one of the many team building options available here.

And in case you need any accommodation for your groups, Larchfield has that covered too. The estate can offer 17 bedrooms onsite (sleeping up to 37 guests), whilst for larger groups, there's plenty of other local boutique guest houses, B&Bs and hotels nearby.

This historic venue is not only a truly lovely place but it's also super flexible too - hosting anything from groups of 10 to over 250, it can also offer exclusive use for your groups, and given that there is so much to see and do here, in such wonderful grounds, you'll wonder why you haven't been here already. For instance, their attitude to sustainability and nature is wonderful. Not only are they always looking to protect and enhance the historic buildings, but they are always encouraging a diverse environment and ecology – planting thousands of trees, creating wild bird cover, flower meadows and adding lakes / wetlands to encourage animals, insects and birds to take up residence within their grounds. Not to mention that they also breed pedigree Alpacas and miniature Donkeys. You just got to love this place!
