Beginning life as a 21-bedroom hotel with a ‘pitch and putt’ golf course, the Lea Marston Hotel has grown rapidly since its inception back in 1989. Today, this 4-star hotel boasts 119 contemporary en-suite bedrooms, 12 modern conference rooms, a spa, pool, gym, and restaurant along with two fantastic bars. It’s now completely unrecognisable from its early years, turning itself into a fantastic modern conference hotel

Just 15 minutes from the centre of Birmingham, 5 mins from the M42 & M6 Toll Road, Lea Marston is perfectly situated and has great connections to the rest of the country. That said, it feels perfectly tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of city life due to being set amidst 54 acres of land. What’s more, although the hotel has changed a lot over the years, it retains its golfing heritage, with two 9-hole golf courses and a 28-bay floodlit driving range.

Specialising in corporate events, this modern hotel has all the credentials to be a huge success in this challenging industry. Refurbished during 2019, the hotel feels bright, vibrant and new.

Entering reception, the staff were friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. From here you can access the gym and spa area and the Perry conference room is also directly accessible from reception whilst many of the bedrooms and ground floor conference rooms are just down the corridor.

Parking: Yes, there are 250 free parking spaces available.

Coach / Bus Pick-up Location at hotel: Yes, coaches can drop off right outside the Lobby and there is plenty of room for parking as well.

Number of bedrooms: 119

The hotel is comprised of several different types: Standard, Superior, Executive & Suites. The majority of which have been refurbished to a high standard with a lovely contemporary design, air con and very nice bathrooms. Some of the rooms have TVs that rise out of the bottom of the bed frame which was a super luxurious touch. We really loved the bedrooms here – they were very nice.

Business centre: No but the conference team is happy to do whatever photocopying and printing you require.

Wi-fi: All free, with great speed throughout.

Fitness gym:
The gym is situated on the ground floor and has a superb range of both weights and cardio equipment – much better than most hotel gyms. So, whether you’re looking at edging a few seconds of your personal best on the treadmill or increasing your gains with some weights, this place has you covered.

Spa & Swimming Pool:
A lovely 13 metre indoor pool is available, along with a poolside jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Great facilities, with all of them being clean and modern.

There are three places to eat or drink at Lea Marston, with The Brasserie being the hotel’s main restaurant. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, you can be sure to enjoy a lovely meal here where you can expect only to be served the very best locally sourced ingredients. You can also decide to treat yourself to a little bit of afternoon tea in their funky conservatory.

Recently refurbished and feeling modern and bright, Bar 76 the place to unwind and relax. It would be all too easy to spend some time here with friends whilst enjoying some tapas over a cocktail or two.

If you have a hankering for a great pint in a traditional pub, then look no further than Hathaways. With exposed brickwork and wooden beams and columns, this really does feel like you have stumbled into a lovely, rustic country pub. Serving traditional pub grub and a decent range of drinks, you definitely won’t be disappointed either. We had dinner there and it was fantastic – really nice relaxed atmosphere too

There are 12 conference rooms here at Lea Marston, with seven conveniently located on the ground floor and with the other five located in a dedicated Conference Hub on the 1st floor. All rooms are modern and bright and are would be perfect for a whole range of events.

Whilst three Meeting Space Highlights are given below, we have to say that the other rooms available here are also brilliant spaces as well - most notable of which is The Octagon. It’s a lovely room that can seat up to 100 people. Feeling lovely and bright, it would be a great space for weddings or conferences.

Oh…there is also an outside terrace area to the rear of Hathaways that would be a fantastic space for drinks receptions too!

The Barton Suite

As the hotel’s 2nd largest room, the Barton Suite can accommodate up to 120 people, but we believe that it best suited for cabaret style where it could comfortably seat up to 60 people. Whichever style seating you choose, the flexibility of this space is great. Being next to the lobby and Bar 76, it is superbly sited too. The adjoining Perry Suite can also be used for registration or for coffee breaks etc.

Dunton Manor Suite

Providing a light and airy setting, the Dunton Manor Suite is a great space that would be perfect for meetings or conferences. It is also very flexible as well, as it can be divided in two with a central partition. Situated on the ground floor, it can host up to 100 people in theatre style with registration being taken in a separate entrance lobby. To the back of the room there is a built-in bar that further adds to the flexible use of this area.

Conference Hub

The Conference Hub is located on the 1st floor and comprises five contemporary boardrooms of varying size, the largest of which can hold up to 18 people. All rooms have natural daylight, air conditioning and access to a central atrium where delegates can take a break and enjoy free flowing refreshments or snacks in a comfy seating area.
