Leonardo Hotel Brighton

If you’re looking for a corporate, modern and seriously stylish hotel, away from the bustle of the waterfront, with incredible transport links - you’re in for a treat for today’s showcase of Leonardo Hotel Brighton

The Leonardo Brighton is an intentional venue. Everything about the spaces here is focussed, detailed and smartly put together. A short escape from the boisterous, lively Brighton waterfront, this city centre venue has quick and easy access to London, multiple airports, and nearly all of England via rail - the train station is a two minute walk.

Across the Leonardo’s 234 bedrooms, 9 meeting spaces and multiple private dining options, including a private buffet - anything is possible for your event here. The team were attentive and extremely respectful - this is a hotel curated with great events in mind, big and small!

When we entered the Leonardo Brighton Central, we were really impressed by the gorgeous lobby! This will leave a great first impression on delegates as they make their way to your event, the space is bright, decorated in a funky style and runs the full length of the hotel, giving a real sense of grandeur.

There’s parking at the venue, which includes 3 EV charging spaces and 578 regular spots, as well as space for vehicles to pull up and drop off groups of potential event-goers. Like we said, this venue is all about intentional functionality and that’s evident in their dedicated entrance for loading in and out equipment etc. for events! As if getting dropped off at the front door wasn’t convenient enough, this hotel is 100m from Brighton Station which has direct links to London, and by proxy - just about anywhere! Gatwick Airport is also a little over half an hour away, meaning that international guests will have secret long haul surprises awaiting them at the airport!

One thing we found across all of the bedrooms we visited was that despite the extremely central location of this hotel, it was extremely quiet here, the spaces inside, whether that was the beautiful meeting spaces or smart bedrooms, felt super-secluded from city life, never mind the hustle bustle of the waterfront! We were really impressed by this calm, corporate vibe inside. The venue offers rooms that range all the way from Standard to their ten Executive King suites!

If you asked us to sum up the facilities at Leonardo Brighton in three words, we’d say yum, yum, yum! The Bar and Grill Restaurant has a wide-ranging menu that rotates throughout the day from the morning until 9pm. With room service eats available all night!

The menu includes an extensive grill section, burgers, pizzas, salads, sandwiches, and beloved classic favourites. The decor is excellent, modern and contemporary without being cold or impersonal, the natural daylight all around the restaurant means that the space always feels homely and bright! We could’ve spent ages in here if the hotel didn’t have so many other fantastic things to show off, but it does!

The Bar is also a great space with all sorts of seating styles, sofas for informal meetings, tables for catch ups or work tables for you to catch up on some emails before a busy day at your event (been there!). After our whirlwind tour of this great hotel, we had a 10 minute sit down there with a drink and honestly, we could have stayed there all day!

The spaces at the Leonardo Brighton are split across the ground floor and the lower ground floor (Street level). The rooms had a fantastic, classy feel that we felt was just perfect for board meetings, high profile interviews, or private, less event-y occasions like health screenings or private dinners. There’s lots of lovely natural light across so many of their meeting rooms, none of which feel too small or stuffy, all with plenty of windows.

Leonardo offers delegate packages which include room hire from 9am to 5pm, LCD projector, screen, whiteboard, flipchart and stationery, unlimited tea, coffee, sweets and fresh fruit, hot or cold lunch, and a dedicated conference executive - it’s everything an event prof could ever need!

When using the meeting spaces at this venue, there’s a dedicated Conference Lobby which can be used for coffee breaks, registration or just a moment to step outside! The area is located right in front of all of the meeting spaces and as with the rest of this venue, well decorated and full of natural light. If the lobby isn’t your speed though, Leonardo Brighton also has a beautiful courtyard that can also be used for coffee breaks, it’s located just next to the conference lobby. We really liked the simplicity of the layout, no map needed here, everything and everywhere is easy to get to, with no hassle for you or delegates!

Summary
Needless to say, we really liked it here. We found this a really good option in Brighton - offering a smarter, more refined approach than the more bustling feel to venues down by the waterfront, which is only a 10-15 minute stroll away. There’s something really charming about this venue, maybe it’s the staff, the decor or the lovely food, but with all of them combined, we couldn't help but think this would be a fab place to host your next event on the south coast!
