The Maldron Hotel Brighton is the new kid on the block in this wonderful city and with it's fantastic location, seconds away from the sea front, as well as being close to the main attractions and the city's conference centre, you know you're onto a winner here!
This lovely and shiny corporate hotel is Brighton’s newest addition, having only recently opened during the summer of 2024. It’s a few footsteps from the beach and is super handily located 5 mins walk to the city centre shops, The Lanes, The Brighton Centre and more.
As you would expect from a brand new hotel, everything feels top class here. from it's simple but stylish décor right through to it's super-cool meeting rooms, we really liked the place - it's even got some funky outdoor courtyard space
In terms of it's sustainability credentials, the hotel excels here too with an excellence rating in BREEAM - being a fully sustainable venue which only uses renewable energy sources.
As you enter the hotel, located just off Brighton's famous waterfront, you know you're in for a treat. The reception area is nice, bright, spacious and VERY funky! You can tell that the helpful staff are very proud of their new property. And rightly so!
Just located close to the reception is the Grain and Grill Restaurant & Bar - lovely and bright and is one of those amazing places that is equally as good to have a few drinks, catch up on some work or have a tasty dinner. It's got that kind of ambience that covers all bases. Just the way we like it.
For us, it's the simple but thoughtful things that count - like USB charging points and plugs on the benches in lobby. We love this attention to detail.

In terms of fitness, Maldron has you covered too - there's a well equipped dry gym on site with state of the art gym equipment. So no excuses, if the weather has put you off going for that stroll down the sea front!
As mentioned earlier, we love the courtyard space here. It's such a great place to have a few drinks, take a coffee break or it can even be used for various team building activities. This is a great inclusion for the hotel and will undoubtedly be used in many different ways in the future.
The Bedrooms
All rooms here are funky, stylish and really nice! Air conditioning in every room comes as standard, as well as complimentary wi-fi, bathrooms with rain showers, USB charging points, large flatscreen TV and many more standard facilities. All accessible rooms have a double bed and fully adapted wet rooms with rain shower, shower chair, grab rails and alarms.
Grain and Grill Restaurant & Bar
This is situated on the ground floor next close to the hotel entrance and the reception desk, and as mentioned earlier, it's lovely! With the tons of natural light and various types of seating, it's right up our street.
It's amazing food and refreshing drinks are served throughout the day. From light lunches to divine dinners, there’s something to suit all tastes - the chefs have crafted their menus using fresh, seasonal ingredients from local suppliers, which is always a massive plus point. You'll find everything from tried and trusted favourites to different, more exotic dishes, with a wide range of options to choose from including vegan, vegetarian, and classic flavours from the grill. And as well as lunch and dinner, breakfast is also served here too.
And if you love your coffee, you're in for a treat! In the Maldron you can enjoy handcrafted barista coffee from the Red Bean Roastery Coffee Dock - what's not to love about this place?
It's the meeting spaces here which got us really excited - the hotel has a dedicated events floor with 5 small to medium sized rooms, all of which have air conditioning and four of them offer natural daylight which is an expected delighted given they are on the lower ground floor.
The breakout area is excellent and offers the ideal place to move out of the meeting room and enjoy the comfortable lounge for breaks, with unlimited beverages - which we LOVED!!
For a city centre hotel, the fact that they can offer a meeting room with capacity for 130 delegates is excellent! And when you factor in a dedicated meeting facilitator, all the wonderful hi-spec AV equipment in the meeting rooms, you'll understand why think the meeting spaces here are well worth checking out.
