With its wonderful 16th century hall and modern hotel facilities, this 4-star venue is a perfect example of how old and new can be fused together.

Following the tree lined driveway, leads you directly to the Main Hall entrance where you are immediately taken back to an age of nobles and aristocracy. As the oldest part of the venue, it has retained much of its original character and is where you will find the Mordaunt and Moncreiffe restaurants along with the very regal grand Main Hall entrance. From here, you can make your way around the site, past the spa to the main hotel entrance.

Access from the hotel’s bright and spacious modern lobby couldn’t be easier, as many of the bedrooms, along with the Lemon Tree Bar and Oranges and Lemons Brasserie Restaurant all lead directly off from here. There is also a gorgeous terrace that is directly behind the hotel and looks over the lovely and tranquil Victorian Gardens.

RESTAURANTS & BARS

The Oranges and Lemons Brasserie Restaurant is located on the ground floor of the hotel. Light and spacious, this fantastic restaurant looks out over the Victorian Gardens and serves excellent food from both a set menu and a la carte. A relaxed atmosphere and superb service made having a good time easy here. We really didn’t want to leave!

There are also several other restaurants scattered around the site including the Mordaunt and Moncreiffe restaurants, as well as the glorious Conservatory Bar - with the latter of these being our favourite place in the whole venue. Full of character and with its wrap around views of the hotel’s grounds and lake, this beautiful room epitomises the fusion of old and new.

While each of the hotel’s bars and restaurants have their own character and would be well worth wiling away an evening or two, it should be noted that some are only used for servicing conferences. Lucky for you though if you are part of that conference!

MEETING / CONFERENCE ROOMS

Between the hotel and hall, there are 21 meeting and conference rooms in total, with all rooms in the hall being located on the ground floor. Whilst the hotel largely mirrors this layout, there are some meeting rooms located on the first floor.

Every room varies in size, with each one having its own unique character and design features. Despite this variation, what is uniform between them all is the versatility that each space offers you. From small boardrooms, such as the Oak and Elm through to the impressive and spacious Courtyard Suite - whatever your needs, you are sure to find it here.

Registration is taken in the hotel’s bar lobby area, or outside the rooms themselves if on the 1st floor. Over in the Hall however, it is taken in the incredibly grand main entrance with its stone colonnade and stained-glass heraldic windows. This is a huge wow factor for any guests and one that would be amazing for branding or for experiential experiences.

Another great consideration for this venue is the extensive land and space available for you to carry out team building and small festival type events. The grounds here are stunning and the perfect backdrop for outdoor activities for your events.
