Located in the heart of Paddington Village, Knowledge Quarter Liverpool, The Spine is one of the healthiest buildings in the UK.
Spaces at The Spine offers dynamic spaces for conferences, meetings, workshops, and dining, as well as event production services to accommodate virtual and hybrid events. Since its launch in September 2021, the venue has hosted over 1,000 events, won 10 awards in recognition of its sustainability initiatives and cutting-edge event technology, and achieved prestigious green accolades.

Spaces at The Spine is Liverpool’s ultimate destination for world-class events. It presents a portfolio of 14 ergonomic, modern and light-filled event spaces that can be easily adapted to host any event type, from conferences and meetings to exhibitions, dinner parties, receptions and more.
The event technology at Spaces at The Spine is next-generation and provides reliable, secure, high-performance connectivity to increase client engagement.
Health and wellbeing strategies have been an integral part of Spaces at The Spine’s design process. The venue has been designed and built according to the strategies and ethos of the WELL Building Standard, the premier standard for buildings, interior spaces and communities seeking to implement, validate and measure features that support and advance human health and wellbeing.
The venue presents biophilic elements which aim to reconnect visitors and delegates with nature and create a healthy and happy environment. An example of this is the biophilic garden located on Floor twelve, which includes oxygen-producing plants. The Axis, the destination dining space on the top floor of The Spine, boasts unrivalled panoramic views over Liverpool City Centre and the Mersey, making it the perfect location to host memorable events.
Spaces at The Spine works with catering partner Company of Cooks (part of CH&Co Group), who boast a vast range of green initiatives and are deeply socially responsible. In collaboration with the caterer, the venue creates seasonal menus promoting knowledge about nutrient quality and weaving sustainability, wellbeing, and health in every dish.
The Base
Breakfast and lunch (selection of sandwiches, and hot special of the day, including vegetarian/vegan special and meat/fish special). To reduce food waste, The Base integrates the use of surplus ingredients and food from commercial meetings and events to create daily specials in the café. The café also provides the community with free used coffee grounds for composting.
The Axis
The Axis is Spaces at The Spine’s destination dining space and The Spine’s jewel in the crown. It boasts double aspect panoramic views over Liverpool City Centre and the Mersey, making it the ultimate destination for suggestive dinner parties and drinks receptions.

All meeting rooms have fantastic facilities, which are further enhanced by floor-to-ceiling natural daylight (but also the ability to black out rooms).
Meeting Space Highlight: Spaces One and Two
Spaces One and Two is the largest space in the venue. It is a flexible, modern, and ergonomic event space and it can be used for any large event type, including conferences for up to 300 people theatre style, summits, and dinners for up to 184. This is an extremely flexible space, which can be used as on large space or split into two smaller rooms. Located on the top floor of the venue, Spaces One and Two boast incredible views over Liverpool, Lancashire & North Wales.

During the daytime, The Axis can be used privately for lunch service or as a breakout area for conferences taking place in Spaces One and Two.
