Now granted, at first glance a factory might not be the first place that pops to mind when you’re looking to plan your next meeting or conference. However, we can vouch that the World of Wedgwood is indeed a brilliant venue for any number of events. Superbly situated in the heart of the country, it is easy to get to. Not only that, it has fantastic conference facilities as well.

Featuring a UNESCO recognised V&A museum collection, factory tour, outlet store, and a master craft studio, the World of Wedgwood has plenty of things to see and do. Whatever you do here though, make sure you try their afternoon tea in their lovely contemporary tea room. It was simply amazing and all using Wedgwood china – of course! Over in the master craft studio, we also highly recommend that you try, ‘throwing a pot’ on their potter’s wheel. We did and felt rather pleased about the end result! Alternatively, if you fancy something a little less messy, then you can design and decorate your very own piece of Wedgwood bone china tableware in the Decorating Studio.

Its Darwin Suite is a superb, contemporary space that can host up to 120 delegates in a variety of styles. Feeling very modern and with click share wireless presentation facilities and projectors, it is a perfect blank canvas that you can make your own. The suite can be split into two should you’re needs require it, while a range of delegate packages are also available. Additionally, there is also far more to the World of Wedgwood than what you may think.
