Exhibition Centre Liverpool has confirmed an exciting and varied lineup of events, including multiple multi-year agreements, for 2025 and beyond, reinforcing its appeal as a trusted partner for event organisers seeking a flexible venue in a dynamic location.
The highly anticipated Comic Con Liverpool will continue to be a major attraction, bringing world- class entertainment and celebrity guests to the city. A newly established long-term partnership ensures that this beloved convention will remain a staple in the Liverpool events calendar through 2030. The event has continued to grow with each visit to city’s events campus - a testament to the venue’s ability to support high-footfall, content-rich events with complex logistical needs.
Exhibition Centre Liverpool’s state-of-the-art infrastructure and adaptable event spaces make it the ideal location for experiential and technology-driven activations. The immersive art experience Beyond Monet is set to debut its UK tour at the venue this summer, following on from the unprecedented success of Beyond Van Gogh last year. This unique exhibition will allow visitors to blend art and technology, exploring Monet’s iconic masterpieces.
2025 will also see the debut of the Global Manufacturing Technology Show, an innovative event that will showcase the latest advancements in manufacturing technology. Benefitting from its proximity to Liverpool’s growing innovation ecosystem, this exhibition will bring together industry leaders to explore new trends and groundbreaking developments in the sector.
Meanwhile, the Hybrid Games, the first-ever fitness event of this kind in the UK, will challenge participants with a series of demanding physical fitness challenges. The venue’s spacious indoor and outdoor layout along the world-renowned Liverpool waterfront, make it ideally suited for hybrid formats and physically engaging activations. The event promises to set a new standard in fitness competitions and is expected to draw a wide range of participants and spectators.
Exhibition Centre Liverpool has strengthened its position as a premier destination for major national events by securing a wave of new multi-year agreements. These long-term partnerships highlight growing organiser confidence in the venue’s ability to deliver outstanding experiences, operational excellence, and commercial value. From industry-leading trade shows to dynamic exhibitions, the expanding pipeline reflects the venue’s appeal across a broad range of sectors.
Among the standout additions is Flood & Coast, the UK’s leading event for flood risk professionals, which will take place at the venue in both 2026 and 2027. Attracting more than 2,300 attendees, the event brings together key stakeholders to share, debate and develop innovative solutions for communities vulnerable to flooding and coastal erosion. Its move to Liverpool signals the city’s increasing prominence as a centre for sustainability-focused dialogue and future resilience planning.
Darren Eckford, Director of Learning and Organisational Development for CIWEM, organisers of the Flood and Coast event said: “Taking Flood & Coast to Liverpool is another step in the continued development of the event. Allowing more communities at flood risk to engage directly with flood resilience professionals is a key driver, and the central city location and support of the regional authority make this far more attainable. We can't wait.”
The UK Drum Show has also extended its agreement with the venue through to 2028, while Procurex National will return in 2026. Furthermore, the SLIDE & OTS Winter Sports Trade Show has secured a multi-year deal, ensuring its continued presence at the venue through 2028. Long-term client UNITAS has also extended its contract with the Exhibition Centre Liverpool through 2028, with planned events for 2027 and 2028.
“Exhibition organisers are excited to be bringing their events to us, from those coming to us for the first time, to events returning over many years and booking well ahead into the future. The variety of our forthcoming programme showcases the vibrancy of our campus and what we can offer, and the repeat bookings demonstrate organiser confidence in our venue’s operational excellence, visitor experience and commercial return.
Liverpool has untapped consumer profiles for launch opportunities, and with the help of our in- house ticketing platform TicketQuarter, we are delivering the audience numbers that organisers expect. Our team is very much looking forward to welcoming thousands of visitors through our doors over the coming months and years.”
