Carden Park launches ‘After-Hours Programme’ for Corporates

Carden Park, Cheshire’s Country Estate, has unveiled a new corporate offering designed to transform the traditional post-meeting downtime into a structured, experience-led evening programme for business delegates.

Branded as the ‘After-Hours Programme’, the initiative introduces a curated series of built-in evening experiences that remove the burden from corporate organisers of planning post-meeting entertainment. Instead of default networking drinks or informal arrangements, delegates can now continue their day with a rotating programme of activities seamlessly integrated into their stay. Importantly, the activities are designed to be a refreshing break away from the conference schedule, while still retaining elements of team building and connection essential to the event objectives.

The programme features a changing schedule of curated activities, including:

  • Interactive game shows, murder mysteries and quizzes
  • Evening golf sessions on the resort’s courses
  • Craft and games as part of informal dining sessions
  • Guided wine and food tastings led by experts
  • Evening private spa access for relaxation and recovery

Positioned as “the 5–9 after the 9–5”, the concept reimagines corporate evenings as an extension of the working day; balancing productivity with connection, relaxation and meaningful shared experiences.

Dan Gibson at Carden Park “Corporate events are evolving, and professionals are increasingly looking for experiences that go beyond the boardroom. Whether guests want to socialise, unwind or stay active, we wanted to create evenings that feel purposeful, rewarding and reflective of modern corporate culture.”

A built-in solution for corporate evenings

The After-Hours Programme is designed to support organisers who often face the challenge of engaging teams once formal meetings conclude. By embedding evening experiences directly into corporate bookings, Carden Park offers a more structured and memorable alternative to traditional networking formats.

Each experience is designed to encourage interaction, wellbeing or downtime in a more considered and engaging way than standard post-conference gatherings.

Personalised delegate ‘tracks’

To further tailor the experience, delegates can choose from four distinct evening pathways:

  • Social - designed to encourage networking and group interaction
  • Calm - focused on relaxation and wellbeing
  • Active - for those who want movement and outdoor engagement
  • After Meetings - flexible, low-pressure experiences to wind down the day

This track-based approach ensures evenings feel relevant to individual preferences while still maintaining a shared corporate experience.

A new approach to corporate hospitality

The After-Hours Programme has been developed to elevate corporate stays into more meaningful, experience-led events - replacing awkward networking drinks with structured, memorable alternatives that foster stronger connections among teams and delegates.

By integrating evening programming directly into the corporate offering, Carden Park positions itself at the forefront of modern business hospitality, where productivity and experience are seamlessly blended.
