Central Hall Westminster’s Wesley’s Café unveils new look and offerings for London visitors

Central Hall Westminster has re-opened its in-house café, Wesley’s Café by Green & Fortune, following a redesign and relocation to improve visibility and accessibility.

Located in the heart of Westminster, the café reopened on 14 July at a new street-level location within the venue, providing better access to the many visitors passing through the area, as well as a terrace overlooking Westminster Abbey. As part of the refresh, the café now offers an exciting, refreshed seven-day service designed to serve both the local community and visitors attending events, work, or leisure activities.

The newly designed Wesley’s Café features a sleek, modern look and includes a striking mural demonstrating the sense of community and togetherness that the venue aims to nurture, while also celebrating the historic beauty of the nearby St James’s Park.

The café offers plenty of grab-and-go options, perfect for the busy Londoner, alongside a revamped menu designed to deliver both convenience and quality. Curated by Green & Fortune, the new line-up includes coffee from Old Spike, a Southwark-based social enterprise dedicating 65% of profits to supporting Londoners experiencing homelessness, and pastries from Hoxton Bakehouse, made with Wildfarmed wheat from regenerative farms. Standout new dishes range from Green & Fortune’s playful “dippy soldiers”, a twist on the classic eggs and soldiers, to gourmet toasties, a seasonal vegetarian quiche with sumac whipped labneh, courgette ribbons and asparagus, and artisan savouries including a Corneyside Farm oxtail and stilton roll or a London Smoke & Cure bacon and leek quiche.

“We are excited to bring a vibrant new experience to Wesley’s Café. With a refreshed menu and new, innovative suppliers, we’ve created a space that combines high-quality offerings with convenience in the heart of Westminster.”

Sarah Franczak, Chief Operating Officer, Central Hall Venues

The relocation of the café makes way for a significant new development at the venue. The former café area on the lower ground floor will be reimagined as a flexible event space, opening in September 2025. It will serve as a transformative space for various events, supporting the continued evolution of the venue’s Grade II* listed building.

Central Hall Westminster is one of London’s most iconic and adaptable venues, offering 25 flexible spaces and capacity for up to 2,000 guests. Its versatility has been demonstrated by standout events such as Katy Perry’s “Night of a Lifetime” for ITV, Microsoft’s AI conference, and the recent Gala de Danza.
