CHS Birmingham will return to ICC Birmingham on 28 October for its fifth edition in the city, marking not just another successful return of the show, but a shared journey with a city that has been integral to the its story from the beginning.
Since its launch in Birmingham, CHS has been more than just a date in the calendar, it’s been part of a city-wide celebration of the UK events industry. Together, CHS and Birmingham have staged unforgettable moments, welcomed thousands of event professionals, and showcased the creativity, capability, and ambition that define the Birmingham’s place on the global meetings and events map.
“Our first Birmingham show feels like yesterday, yet here we are, five editions later, proud of the impact we’ve made together. This is a city with an extraordinary events heritage, iconic venues, bold ideas, world-class hotels, boutique spaces, and an energy that’s uniquely its own. Every time we return, we feel the same excitement and gratitude for the partnerships that make it possible.”

Two of those partnerships have been at the heart of the show since day one; West Midlands Growth Company and ICC Birmingham, who have both helped to shape the event’s success.
Linda Best, Business Tourism & Events Strategic Lead at the West Midlands Growth Company, added: “CHS Birmingham has become part of the fabric of the region’s events calendar, showcasing not just what we have to offer, but how we work together. It has been a privilege to see the show grow and thrive. We are particularly encouraged that more than a third of attendees who have so far signed up this year are new to the West Midlands – highlighting that the region continues to attract fresh interest and new events.
“The West Midlands is a place to be seen in, and a leading events destination in which to do business. We look forward to meeting with new buyers and familiar faces at the exhibition and during our pre-event familiarisation trip to demonstrate why this region is the best destination for conferences and events.”
ICC Managing Director, Andy Gibb, said: “Hosting CHS Birmingham each year is always an event we all look forward to. It’s a celebration of the city's credentials in the events sector, it's also a great chance for the industry to see us at our best. Being a founding partner has meant sharing in that journey, and that’s been incredibly rewarding.”
Birmingham was this year ranked the top UK regional destination for meetings by global events and hospitality technology provider, Cvent. The annual rankings listed Birmingham in 21st place, up from 24th in 2024, ahead of European cities such as Hamburg, Stockholm and Zurich.
As the 2025 edition approaches, the CHS Birmingham team is preparing for another packed day of business, learning, and connection, and another opportunity to shine a spotlight on a city they are proud to call home.
