DW: Hi Erwan, tell us a bit more about your role at Châteauform'
EJ: I’m development director in charge of partnerships and public relations. I have been working for Châteauform' for seven years now. I am lucky enough to represent our 67 Houses throughout Europe and especially all the Houses located in France and in Paris where the Rugby World Cup 2023 and the Olympic Games 2024 will be hosted.
DW: There must be some amazing properties in the Châteauform' portfolio, are there any that really stand out here in Paris, any personal favourites or magical settings?
EJ: In Paris, we have 10 emblematic venues. Some of them host standard company seminars, while others host large events for up to 6 000 people (Les Docks de Paris). They are all located in the center of Paris and are therefore very well known to French companies, who are our regular clients.
One of our houses, the Salle Wagram, is located next to the Arc du Triomphe and the Champs-Elysées. It is a very surprising and unique venue because it has hosted great boxing matches but also Maria Callas concerts, badminton competitions, a private concert for Coldplay, and a lot of conventions and company events. We are open to all corporate requests and our talented teams are excited to create beautiful and imaginative events!
DW: Your core business is hosting corporate meetings and events, what is a typical event for Châteauform'? (bring in team building)
EJ: Châteauform' is the European leader in the organization of seminars and corporate events. Our castles in France have between 40 and 185 rooms and are located in the Paris region, near Lyon, Marseille and Bordeaux. They are very well known for their beauty but also for the team spirit and warm welcome that reigns there. Our values make us a real family and that’s something we are very proud of. Each event we organize is unique and the RWC and Olympic Games periods will allow us to continue showcasing our creativity and adaptability throughout our houses.
DW: Tell us what Châteauform' can offer to the event buyers on The Delegate Wranglers and why they should consider Châteauform' when booking corporate events in Paris?
EJ: Our 10 venues in Paris (without accommodation) are the ideal places for Olympic Houses or to host teams who wish to work in ideal conditions during this period. We can organize dinners and cocktail parties and any other kind of event.
Our 23 châteaux in the Paris region are located less than 1 hour from Paris for easy access. The rooms are magnificent and we also have beautiful outdoor areas with swimming pools, tennis courts, etc. These are the perfect places to host sports teams, media, or companies who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
